I thought that because there are carbon deposites near valves as shown in pic below. Cud it be due valve leak?
& which engine oil should be used to make engine run as cool & silent as possible?

I am using Honda throttle high performance synthetic oil 10w30. It lasts 4000-5000 km, but its costly Ts 504 for 1L bottle. My engine is super silent alsmost like shine

        • Hi All,
Can the sound from exhaust be changed ,only by replacing it with other models? Or , are there any other methods/ equipments/ devices, to do the same ? I mean, if I want the exhaust sound of an Apache from my Twister, what shall I do ? Any cheaper alternatives/ experiments ? This question seems silly , still wanna give it a try..

But these are the only products whose price is controlled by goverment. So the other products like engine oils, naptha, and many more are sold by oil companies at a price which cover up the losses of petrol and diesel . But not even one third of public is aware of this. This is a counrty corrupt to core where every goverment fleeces the common man
Right....on LPG govt is giving subsidy of 500 Rs/cylinder and around 12 Rs/lit on diesel....which they are probably recovering by hiking petrol price. Even though petrol prices are deregulated we are getting fooled by providing incorrect rates which companies are buying the oil. anyways today prices are reduced by 2 Rs/lit so its good...but if they can remove VAT then it will be big relief for all like its done here in Goa.

looking at pics it Does not look like there is a valve leak.if it was leaking then all surrounding areas would have turned blackish.
I am using Regular Honda 10W30 mineral oil from june to feb and in summer i.e march/April/May i switch to 20W40 rating oil from Motul or Gulf.
10W30 is better for good mileage but change it within 1500km or 3 months..whichever comes first.

Exhaust sound depends on silencer....it is better to stick to stock one.
there are some aftermarket silencers available in market but most of them sound horribly loud and unpleasant compared to stock silencer. some people use such silencer to get attention but they sound as if bike has become old.

I am using mineral 20W40 as synthetic is bit expensive for me.....also you can get nearly 3 bottles of minerals for same price of one synthetic....which will do better job when it comes to keeping engine clean....because since you will be draining 3 times more oil then synthetic....you will have less amount of dirt/bad oil in circulation when engine is running.

After a 26k kms i've changed the spark plug today.. My surprise i got a genuine Honda spark plug in a local spare parts shop which is made by NGK.. And also i dint go more shops to get genuine one, i went only one shop simply asked spark plug for my twister.. He took & read one catalog that's having all Honda Bike spark plug list with part no... For our twister it's 31917-KPH-901 CPR7EA-9..
Spark plug M.R.P (Rs.) : 105.00 but shop guy given to me at a Rs.100

When mech change the plug i've noticed my old spark plug is still good in condition..

                              • Got my bike after 1st service, got a mileage of 75 kmpl (@ 40-50 km speed) before 1st service but now got reduced to 65. Need to check again whether it improves.

Now will do some mods on it.
