Oil price increased by 25 Rs not 15.....and there are incidents of number plates itself getting stolen from parked vehicles and then fixed on some other stolen vehicle.Originally posted by prajnyan View PostNo pun intended. But we, your neighbours from karnataka still dont complaint that our petrol prices are 80rs/lt and you are bothered about 1 lt oil rate increase by 15rs! Its not like u change oil everyday, it lasts 2 months.
And investing on a security number plate is one time deal right! Moreover that way it would be difficult for someone to steal and sell the bike, think that way!

Hopefully Didi won't do this number-plate trick in WB/KolkataOriginally posted by sachin1111 View PostHere in Goa the government has announced that from August onwards all vehicles will have to remove their existing number plates and fit a new High Security number plate that costs some 250-300Rs for bikes and over 500 Rs for cars.
also engine oil prices have gone up from Rs170 to Rs 195 for Honda 10W30 bottle in last 3 month. bit too much burden on our head
!
As for the oil , I am still finding HeroHonda(tidewater make) 10w30 900ml bottles for Rs 170.00 here ,it's very good, you can try that instead ... .

She will..I mean she has to..Supreme Court has cracked its whip on the states for failure of implementation of the high security number plates. Starting June 15 we have 2 yrs to switch to HSNP.
The HSNp has a snap on lock whic breaks away when tampered with and the plate cannot be fixed on any other vehicle. Only RTO offices are allowed to fix the HSNPs

I have two bottles and I plan to stock up at least 5-6 bottles because this oil is just superb.

yup..Hero honda 10w30 is a better deal now...as its available for not just lower price but also more volume 900ml because Honda oil is actually a smaller 800ml bottle.Originally posted by Pinaki View PostHopefully Didi won't do this number-plate trick in WB/Kolkata

NANO recieved much better reponse and hype with record bookings during its launch but due to deliveryand other technical issues , its no where that popular , leave alone mass car . Bajaj should have launched this bike long ago the day it was scheduled ( in month of April atleast)... hope it doesn't turn to be a blunder due to its over hype.Originally posted by sachin1111 View PostPulser 200 is getting impressive reviews everywhere on net.... bajaj seems to have made a excellent bike under one lakh

Hi guys, one of my fried is having cb twister run 15000 kms. The bike seems to have a hick up only at the speed of 60. Carburetor has been cleaned but this issue seems to be an electrical cut off for me (maybe cdi or coil) . Has anyone faced this kind of issue in your twister?

Hi guys! I am new to this forum. I bought Twister Black just two days back, i.e., July 27, 2012, from Ananda Honda, Bommanahalli, Bangalore. There is a humming sound from the engine bay whenever I rev the engine. I enquired from the service center and they were not able to identify the source of that sound and sent me stating that they will check it during my first service and there will not be any problem. Is this normal for a new bike?

I had similar issue wherein the engine would jerk and cut off at 70 km/hr at around half throttle position. jerking was similar to when the bike falls in reserve and you try to accelerate.in my case also they cleaned the carb but problem continued. Honda mechanic could not find the fault and i had to live the bike at service center.the service engineer did resolved the issue after 2 days of try but they never told me the exact cause/reason for same...so i am not able to tell you the exact cause. I would suggest you to check the fuel in the tank as one possible reason is the presence of water in fuel.I am not aware of electrical issue so keep us updated when the problem gets resolved.Originally posted by sreerama View PostHi guys, one of my fried is having cb twister run 15000 kms. hi scorpion, congrats & welcome to forum. what exactly do you mean by humming sound?Do Not rev the engine hard as the engine is new and currently in its running in period.you have four free services given to solve any problem which you may notice....so i suggest take this issue during first service.Do not worry...it doesn't look like serious issue...may be the engine oil has degraded a bit during storage before you took the delivery.Originally posted by scorpion78 View PostHi guys! Thanks Sachin. I am not revving the engine hard, just running it between 35-40 km/hr, with negotiatable throttle. The sounds comes after a few seconds after starting the engine along with the usual engine noise (similar to a sound which comes from an oscillating table fanOriginally posted by sachin1111 View Posthi scorpion, congrats & welcome to forum. what exactly do you mean by humming sound?Do Not rev the engine hard as the engine is new and currently in its running in period.you have four free services given to solve any problem which you may notice....so i suggest take this issue during first service.Do not worry...it doesn't look like serious issue...may be the engine oil has degraded a bit during storage before you took the delivery.
