Are you using stock RR or Changed to new high power one.. If it is OLD one then what is the output of that means battery charging, How much amps you are getting from the RROriginally posted by shantanu1989 View Posti have done the recoiling and changed the original Minda Battery with Amaron ProBiker 5 Amp Battery. for this i had to cut my airfilter for fitting the battery and rewind the coil. the coiled provided by the company really is very weak with 21 gauge and 41 winds. i had to rewind it with wire of 20 gauge and 40 winds so that it could power 5 Amp battery.
Costing-
Battery Rs. 1100(including exchange value of old battery)
Rewinding Rs. 300 + Rs. 20 for chai:rolleyes;
Mechanic Charges Rs 200
Total- Rs. 1620
and now my bike goes with a sound of vroom.
will change my power supply option next month along with fog lamps perhaps

Hello people
I am a new member to the forum as well and I own a CB twister that's one and a half year old. I get around 60 - 70 in city conditions depending on my driving style. And my rear tire is the one without treading in the middle.
I love my bike and i think it's a good purchase, but I am considering moving to a gearless scooter later this year since the traffic in hyderabad is wearing out my bones and muscles.CB Twister Yellow

Hi,I am also going to do the same.....but for now i will continue using twister for another 1-2 years. By that time Honda will bring the next generation 125cc gear less scooter which is presently under development. the only reason i am reluctant to go for scooters is due to their low pickup. twister takes 6.5 seconds to reach 60km/hr speed while Activa/dio takes more than 10 seconds to reach the same speed which is quite boring.but Honda is all set to change that when they launch their 125cc scooter.at present suzuki swish is the best scooter for around 50k.second best is vespa but it is highly overpriced..third best are all honda's Activa/Aviator and Dio.Originally posted by been there View PostHello people

Any advice depends largely on how well the service center guys do their job normally.
A general piece of advice for the current weather would be to request them to grease/oil the vehicle well so it can take the rains/water puddles/moisture better.
There is a down side to this advice as well. You will need to be careful about excess/dripping oil when you collect your vehicle in the evening.Last edited by been there; 08-11-2012, 07:33 PM.CB Twister Yellow

Is any one of you getting this "thud" like noise from the handle bar when going over pot holes/speedbreakers a little fast?
They call it "the fork dug" or something at the service ceter and the solution is to tighten the fork (???) but it reappears again as we use the motorcycle.
But the question is am I alone with this problem? I know I've been a little naughty with my motorcycle in the early days but I wnated to know if I am paying for it now.CB Twister Yellow
