dealer is offering free helmet,Saree guard, leg guard, warrenty (650rs), No. Plates..

I have heard that changing tires (bigger) decrease mileage..how you mileage increased..upto 93kmpl..That's very impressive....

can you tell me what exactly you did??
That's a good deal getting accessories at free of cost. When i got my bike before 2yrs Disc version costs Rs.56850.But mine is drum cost Rs.53450.

ya i too heard the same changing tyre ll decrease the mileage but in my case it just reduced 2-3kms in city driving. Now my bike giving in city 48kms for 50rs(0.72ltr) of Petrol before it gave me 50kms
I got 93kmpl on free highways at a speed of 45-55kmph.
I just simply changed the tyre nothing else i did

Ya there is no much diff btw the Disc & Drum braking performance except price

synthetic oil...probably not required... it was made for CBR250.any way do let us know how long it lasts. by the way AMC deal sounds good.have they given a fixed date for each service?or is it up to you to decide when to do the service?

There is a fixed date range / km range whichever earlier for each service ; just like in free service ... and same no labour only actual part charges will apply. with 5% discount. Also sysnthetic oil has got superb effect I get that in my cbr hence tried on twister as well.. its supposed to last for 5k km but ichange at 4k always. bike after detailing looks brand new. will carry that out at six monthly intervel regularly..... Mileage 72kmph

                • GUYS,
Booked red twister yesterday..really liked it..
                  cost is Rs.54900 in Thane..

i took self/drum because some how i felt DISC can be dangerous for me..as i am not regular rider..n once had small accident when i applied front disc hard....so i think drum is enough to ride withing city limits..

they gave me FREE accessories worth rs 2500 including studds helmet [rs 1175], Number plates [250 rs], Saree gaurd + leg guard [700 rs]..
My other friends were shocked because when they bought their honda bikes, they did not get any thing free(not even number plates
..really liked STUDDS NINJA HELMET>>its cool..

will get delivered in 10 working days..

is there any thing i need to check while taking delivery.
i will be posting more queries soon when i will get my bike in my hands.. :P

                  Thanks.. a lot...

congrats!! you had good deal with free Accessories. if you are getting in 10 days then it means they probably have the bike in their storage room.ask them if they already have the bike in storage and if they have then you can take someone with you to do all checks. In my case I myself checked the bike few days before taking delivery.it normally takes few days to complete formalities such as document verification and online registration etc.I would prefer to have a bike from fresh stock which has just arrived at showroom few days back.... then the one waiting for months in dealers stock yard under sun & dust.this is just my personal opinion.Any ways Do all the checks....before taking delivery.
