because of low power ... & small fuel tank..

    do u agree ??

8 Liters of tank is very less compared to other bikes..

anybody has done any long trip of 250KM or more??
pls share your personal experience ..

    Thanks
Very much Untrue .. U can use the twister on almost any terrain .. ! yes it is small but still u can drive on highways.. just avoid highspeeds above 75 as may become unstable coz of cross draft but if hav a heavy load on bike mayb that could be negated..

of the 7k+ kms on my bike abot 3k is on hwys.. mostly Chennai-Coimbatore or Chen-Blore..

..small fuel tank ?? really ? well for me one topup and i can make 650kms+ :P thats alomst Chen-Coim and half way back :P :P..

on long trips bike is smooth but may end up havin tad bit saddle sores - i keep a soft towel as a cushion and its comfy as heaven ...

you may feel horn is a bit weak for the highways which would not even be an issue if u drive well.

power is in no way low.. i have with ease overtook several trucks running at 60+. on the hwys.. yeah passing cars if they overtake u too close may give u a bit of a scare..

bike is in no way unfit for hwys but ideal if u are mileage conscious (like Me :P) ..

whnevr u are out on the hwys maintain 60. and u will be fine .. no issues..

FYber once you adjust slack put the bike in center stand and rotate the back wheel with your hand. use your other hand to spary the chain clean spray cum lubricant. Alternativley you can use tooth brush and kerosene/disel to clean the chain and then use an oil can filled with SAE 90 gear oil to lubricate the chain. Never put the bike in gear and do like Rajaselvam said

why should i adjust slack...why cant i just put oil

twister can do 100+ speeds on highway......isnt that enough?Do not expect CBR like performance from this engine.. also need not worry about 8 litre fuel tank because it gives 80+kmpl mileage at economy speeds....which turns out to be 600+km range on tank full...which is enough for long trips. In fact when tested.. my bike covered a distance of 102km after falling in reserve.

        • Carb..

the screw to the right is idle and to the left is fuel/air ..

so clockwise turn of fuel/air screw is what ?? more fuel less air or more air less fuel ??

and is there just one screw for fuel air ?? or separate for fuel and air ??

you are putting yourself in risk man.its not a safe practice to put it on gear and run the bike for oiling the chain. you can simply rotate the rear wheel with hand and pour oil on chain at that place where chain rolls over the sprocket. This is the best place to avoid any wastage of oil and also much safer. I am using a old EASY-OFF BANG floor cleaning solution bottle which has long nose which is very useful to pour oil. Due to its long nose it pours oil at exact point you point it without dirtying your hand and not a single drop is wasted.

            • I have succesfully climbed the slope of hell on my twister(not the 75 degree last slope, left that one) but for a 110cc bike it's still a feat to climb such a terrain. But of altely it has been giving me lesser mileage.
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

All four stroke bikes have fuel screw only.there is no Air screw in four stroke bikes.for Twister there is one Fuel screw at right.Turning this screw clockwise will give less fuel and turning the screw Anti clockwise will give more fuel.
Zoom in to images given below i have marked both fuel screw and idle screw.

I get a mileage of 68-72kmpl in Nagpur city limits which I belive is best in class for a 110cc bike
                  OHH..Great To know This !!!

but how did you fill 11 liters of petrol when Tank is of 8 Liters...are you trying to say that tank is bigger than what actually HONDA Claims..?

If u fill to brim twister holds 11.27 ltrs exactly I have tried this by filling petrol using a 5 litre and i litre bottle

yes as ramesnap said it does hold some 11+lts of fuel...

honda actually calculates it as the liquid fuel capacity.. but there is more roon in the tank to accomodate to for splash, air, anti-spill etc , the neck , etc.. but just to be safe avoid filling to the brim , max i would suggest would be till the bottom part of the tank neck (approx 10.6 lts). coz anythin above that u risk loosing fuel while regular driving as it would just spill out of the tank :P...

Just using 10ltrs of petrol i completed the trip Chennai-Bangalore-Chennai.
