but 10days ?? really?? i got mine delivered the next day ..
u really need not worry about anythin as u can always go back (if the showroom is near ) if u hav problems..
but basic things to check out for :
*possible scratches (especially over the cowling, fairing, muffler, any plastics)
*fuel(min 2lts in tank)(note that reserve itself holds 1.62)
*ensure in and out for rust.. if rust exists just decline to accept (unless dealer offers to reduce price :P)(u will typically find rust near the CDI unit, and under the fuel tank at the delivery tube attachment before the fuel know)
*ensure the KM reading on the ODO is under 5Kms
*ensure all electricals are working.
*make a short test run to ensure proper gears brakes etc
*try tapping the head lamp dome assembly, if u hear a feed back or rattling or vibration , report , sign of a loose screw or somethin else cable or wire, take no chances,(i had that problem i neglected turnd out after 200kms the speedo cable ripped , needed replacement. though i did not hav to pay for , one unnecessary trip to service )
*make sure all rubber pads are in place under the seat (minor useless stuff but still, will give more comfort from vibration :P )
*
** thats all i guess, i feel i listed too much but this is wht i feel u should look out for , well i did (mostly) :P..and paid it paid off too :P. initially i rejected to take bike due to rusting under tank and under the engine housing and got a different newer one so just be sure whn u take it to your hands , that this is the one you want
