    • These are the pics of the new tyre I bought last week. The tyre still looks puny eventhough it's 100/90. The same tyre appears larger in the pulsar . Grip on dry tarred surface is good. On sand(sand on tarred road) is okay. Didn't try it on wet surface. Swaying from one side of the crease/crack to the other side of it is not that scary now(thanks to the width). Can lean more at the curves. And it's more rounded too.

How much did it cost you ?

The design of the bike makes the Tyre to look puny.
Probably due to the fact that there is much gap/distance between the Tyre and the bottom side of rear seat(raised rear seat) , plus that rim is of 17 inches .

yes shoeb, good observation. you are absolutely right,we often blame the tyre that appears smallish but its not small. Its the gap between Tyre and bottom side of rear seat that makes it look small.check below pic closely i have rounded the gap with white arrow mark......well that is why even 100/90 tyre looks puny.well there is one simple solution to this.I have seen one Twister fitted with Tyre Huger which was taken from pulser 135.once you fit this tyre hugger even the stock tyre looks good on Twister as it vastly reduces that gap between tyre and under seat.

Yes, you are right. the rim width is very small. The horn is vibrosonic

Correct. I was wondering if I can make a pusar135 like set up for the tail lamp/mud guard (the metal thing holding the number plate) and a tyre huger.

is the horn give the output perfectly.Bcz i'm using roots megasonic but horn is crying on traffic.

I've already made a LED brake lights.

It works perfect. The sound is irritating if I'm not wearing a helmet. so you can imagine the plight of oncoming people. Because of the loud noise I use it only when it's absolutely necessary. But still there are some jokers who don't give a damn. Especially aunties crossing. they never look right and left before crossing. I have put a LED strip (white) on my front number plate. Which is full time on. At times I forget to turn on headlight in city (coz of street light). So this one is helpful to make me visible to other drivers and avoid any possible accident.By the way the new tyre reduced my top speed by 2 - 4 kmphr. Acceleration is a bit slow it seems (or is it psychological ). Will update about the mileage drop. I calibrated my speedo meter with a cbz xtreme. It was going at 45 kmphr (i could see his speedo reading). Mine was showing 50. I stayed with him for a few seconds to confirm. So my 110 might be 100kmphr. And the actual might be 95 .

                    • Guys, i am thinking of replacing the tail/brake light bulb with LED bulb.since LED bulbs consume much less power to give same amount of light....so this will reduce load on battery & i can install powerful horn without putting excess load on battery. The stock tail light bulb is rated at 5/21 Watts......so is their any alternative using LED bulb?

Sachin, I have installed a LED strip (6 LEDs) in the front and a pair of quite loud horns (roots vibrosonics). LEDs are full time on even the engine is not working. It's been one year, still the battery works fine. So better you spend that money for something else. I'm searching if I can fix a tail lamp/mud guard assembly like pulsar135 to increase the length of the bike.

                        • I also got the c zapper 100/90 fitted to my bike yesterday. I did not notice any drop in the pick up and the road grip is way better now.

Rix,Actually I am looking for brake light alternative that will come ON/OFF as and when brakes is applied. The LED strip is good but during daytime its not that much visible mostly....and my riding being mostly daytime i feel keeping it on all the time continuously doesn't serve the purpose.
Any idea about pulser 135 Tyre huger cost and how to fit it?

Now Honda has announced a new scooter in Thailand market named click125i fitted with new engine it claims to have superb mileage of 91 kmpl . that's what looks like at the bottom of page on link below.I think it wont take long before we see similar scooter/bikes arrive in india.
91kmpl then we can sure get 80kmpl dude..... thats amazing

i think Zapper C will probably last longer...compared to Michelin pilot sporty bcoz michelin seems to have softer compound which will wear little faster but provide better road grip. i would also go for zappers as they are tubeless....but if Michelin comes with tubeless then that will be better option.
