Guys,I came across this new CB Twister color available in Philippians. Its a silver color...(not the white color available here) in fact the same silver is present on silencer cover and silver linings below the the seat.also note the CB Twister sticker on battery compartment is bit different graphic then Indian Twister. This color will probably look very shiny under sunlight.

The green color seems to be getting popular....as can be seen from below link...a pulser painted in green.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostGuys i got fixed Roots Gladiator II CLS on ma bike.
But i couldn't get the slider type remote.
I'm planning to modify my bike.
Planning to fix R15 front fairing assembly & paint it in Green to match bike colour.
Got quoted 11k for the entire modification & painting.

In Bangalore black seems to be the most popular color. Every second Twister that I see is black. And the number of Twisters on the roads have definitely increased compared to when I bought mineOriginally posted by sachin1111 View PostThe green color seems to be getting popular....as can be seen from below link...a pulser painted in green.

rajaselvam, you must check the spark plug regularly during servicing so as to clean any carbon deposits formed around the tip of plug and also check the gap which must be maintained between 0.8-0.9mm.Normally some carbon deposit is continuously formed around its tip as per usage and this carbon will then affect the combustion if you do not clean it....resulting in drop in mileage, loss of power and starting problems.you will not know the condition of spark plug unless you open it.A new spark hardly costs about 90 Rupees so dont wait till your bike starts giving trouble......this will only benefit your mechanic as he will be waiting to earn more & more service charges by making you fool.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostSachin but i'm still using the stock spark plug even didn't open it to check the condition

By the way i am against too much modification as it may affect the functioning and safety aspect of bike.it looks good for sure ....but i feel its risky as you never know something may go wrong.Last edited by sachin1111; 01-19-2012, 01:39 AM.

Change the spark plug at regular intervals.. Also as sachin said dont wait for the bike to give problems maintain the bike......

Dont too much of modification will not go down well with stabilty and design. The centre of gravity will change and this will effect your balance..

My bike has done 5700 kms, shall I get a new spark plug? Sachin, did you come out with any other probability of the jerking problem? I mean, even after cleaning the carb, the problem is there. Seems, more of a chain slip, coz the sound appears to be coming from there! Not sure ,though.
This Saturday, would go to SVC from where I bought my bike. Shall spend the entire day, on solving this prob.
New few advices from xBhpians:
1. Can I enter the bay area, where the bikes are serviced, when my bike is being serviced and watch the entire thing? Mine will be paid, so, will I be allowed inside the bay area?
2. Can I threaten them ,to raise my concern to higher authority? If yes, please give me the details of Honda's higher authority at Gurgaon. Rameshap, can you please provide the details.
3. Any other suggestions are welcome.
TIA.

you can try using new spark plug......it will not go in waste because you can always use it later once your stock plug erodes.Make sure its NGK with same model number given in user manual. you need not threaten them..just directly file a complain on Honda website.remember that the copy of your complaint is forwarded to service center...so dont write any personal remarks against the manager who will receive your complaint.{in my complaint I had described ASC manager at my place as an AssholeOriginally posted by Ronits View PostMy bike has done 5700 kms, shall I get a new spark plug? hey guys. Its been a long six months and i put my vehicle thru every possible test...Originally posted by Baazigar View PostEven after getting the front cup-cone set changed the sound has returned. Any one facing similar issue or have any ideas about this problem?
Baazigar yes i changed the front cowl and the sound is still there. u can fix it by padding the rubber stoppers under the cowl with a piece of two-side tape. It stops the noise.
guys, i am heavy set as i've said earlier. these days i feel the pick up of the bike is dropping gradually. Especially when i shift from the third to the fourth gear the speed suddenly drops. Is it a problem i have to report or is it bcoz of my weight??
Anybody having a problem with ur mileage???Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.

Yesterday changed my tyre to MRF zapper c 100/90 TubeLess. Cost me me Rs1900. With the stock tyre I could feel every imperfection of the road. But this 100mm wide new tyre reduced it a lot. No fish tailing in tarred surface. I need to check it on mud and sand. I have read it somewhere in the forum that Zapper C doesn't have grip in wet surface Where as zapper vyde is good for wet surface. But vyde was not available in that shop. And I reached the shop with a puncture and the tyre was fully deflated. So it was inconvenient to search for other shop.
Another thing is that the chain is making a clunking sound. Need to change chain and sprocket. It's now 21500+ in the odo. Everything else is going perfect.Love the ride, not the destination
