  • Root's windtone costs 550/- and BOSCH relay costs 150/-.
But thats not the important part, before going for the above first acquire 10Meter long high quality wire, clips, and a two way switch.

Cause when I went for the above setup, the quality of wires and clips used was real cheap, they finally resulted in shorting out and burnt one of the windtones.

In wet conditions (Extreme) I have not had any issue with the grip riding between 40-60 kmph with a pillion... If u rip on wet road any tire will skid.. As such I dont have problems with my rear tyres.. I ride on highway daily But i have heard lot of people complain about rear tyre skidding may be riding style does matter here.... Changin g to diffrent specs be ready to take a 5-8 kmpl drop on your mileage..

The Tyre don't skids much in wet conditions but skids more in Sand pebbles, gravel and why there is no central groove in the rear Tyre? Can anyone explain the reason behind this?

my friends recommended blue colour but i stuck to white and it looks smashing cause i know this bike cant handle projectors, so this is as good as it gets for me n m satisfied
              gonna shift to blue soon

              as for the price goes,
              250 for the angel eyes
              25 for switches n parts
              250 for labour

ps: this procedure involves opening the headlight which is sealed with sealant from the company so get it done from a good mechanic ..because if the it cracks its going to set u back rs.650 for a new light original from company
Where did u fit it? Im living in mumbai and would like to fit the blue angel eyes. Does it affect the battery? What does the total cost actually come to??

              • Back ppl

Hey , just got back from our trip sorry was not able to update , had a few snags ( datacard gave up, one camera didnt hav charger another fell down and broke :P- but those are just nothin) had a great time, driveing along , clocked just over 2600kms .. from Chennai-Vellore-krishnagiri-Salem-erode -karur-dhrmapuram-pollachi-Coimbatore-OOty-kotagiri-and back the same route
.. had to cut short trip to blore, coz guys have other committments from monday ..

Bike was really smooth - was able to ride at 90+ over long stretches .. and best part mileage gave around 90 (idk if its possible :P) - checked with exact 500ml when tank was dry ) we were carryin 2lts (500*4 bottles) .got 45kmpl..tried it 4 times and got over 45 each time at 55-60 kmph ..

Felt the horn is too weak for the Highway 3of us had to horn at once to get the attention of truck drivers.. also thoug the tires performed awesome they had grip issues on gravel and many a times ended up skiddin though all under control it got me to thing into gettin replacements . Also the head lamp feels a bit weak too..

All pics we got were on our phones - crappy resolution .. thats the only tragedy we faced

I'm using Castrol Grease for chain lubrication. I never noticed how long it'll get last. But monthly once i'll clean the chain & lubricate.

thanks...tyre threads looks good.....somewhat similar to CBR 250 model. keep a watch on mileage as its likely do drop a bit,and let us know the difference. I may also go for this one after my stock tyre runs about 20k.
