Nowadays all the Honda bikes are coming with the MF battery but all are different in size & capacity so the battery box also in diff size.I tried this before a year to change the battery without modifying the battery box but couldn't find anyone even cant go for 5amp battery.

i am trying to find if Non-MF battery are in anyway smaller in size compared to MF........if they are smaller then there is a chance of fitting higher Ah batteries..though it will require topping up at later stage.that's why i wanted to know the size(L x B x H) of Twisters MF battery. by the way i think Twister is the first to get MF battery followed by dazzler and CBR. other honda models are still having Non-MF batteries.
Amaron are probably the best right now with their 9 Amp hr costing same as our Twister's Exide 3 Amp hr.
it seems Amarom 9 Amp hr wont fit as its way too big but the 5mAh one needs to be checked.unfortunately Amaron website is not providing any info on size of their battery"s.

Got this exiting news about Upcoming KTM DUKE 200 bike.the specification that have leaked two days back says bike will have Power of 26 BHP and torque of 19.5 Newton meter......and kerb weight of just 122kg.will have radial tyres.
with such powerful engine and 122kg weight its like a mini rocket...should be able to beat every other bike including CBR in city conditions.

Absolutley correct....Twister battery is quoted Rs 1700/- I fail to under stand while people expect their motor between wheels to rev at first press of the button when it's time to do some maintainace they think twice... Money invested on maintaing a vechile and safety is always worth every buck.. I would rather spend 1700 on my bike than buy my gf a dress...

guys,there is a battery available for Twister from Tata green battery.
model 5L-B for self start and model 2.5L-C for kick start model.
unfortunately the website has not provided any info regarding capacity in Amp hr.

hav seen those super saver things around.. my uncle had put that on his pulsar .. but no change in mileage ...

Ronits common sense says that if this was actually working then atleast one manufacturer would have incorporated this in their 100cc segment which is marketed for mileage.. In fact when I asked the Honda tech at pune he discouraged using this. One of my friend has installed this on his HH CD 100 deluxe couple of days back. will let you know the results after atleast a month of his usage ...

Rameshap, I won't buy the 'common sense' thing... but, yes, there must be some engineering into that thing... Its all science, brother...

As it is, If you walk around the lanes of Chandi Chowk market in Kolkata, you will see thousands of Chinese stuffs, which doesn't add much to our common sense, but yes, they do have their science behind them! .

What I am saying is that, that thing has some coil or something in it, which might be beneficial in some way or the other.
Im not into that branch of engineering, so, I can't comment on it much..

And speaking of Honda Tech, I don't have any faith in them anymore, they can't even solve a problem I have been facing on my bike since my purchase. I didn't find any Honda Tech in BBSR, they are all mechanics, so to say.

If you know any real Honda TECH, kindly give me his contact details, Il ask him if at all, there is any solution to my bike's jerking problem.

And why no manufacturer has implemented the thing in their 100cc segments, well, maybe they are not aware of the thing!! Who knows... Any other marketing strategy they have, Im sorry, Im not into management stuffs either..

This is supposed to work as a capacitor in line to store and release high energy, and is a copy of Stromberg make....our copies seldom work...
