Ronits, the slider cover is not present in my "Gladiator 2" model from roots.also it has two remotes which company claims is water proof.I had paid 1.5k including installation, price written on package box was MRP 1350. one more thing i realized is that when you press lock/unlock button you can see all 4 turn lights glow for a second and intensity of these light clearly indicate the battery charge level...i.e if battery is well charged then lights glow bright and if low then the light is bit low.have you noticed it?Originally posted by Ronits View PostWhoa! 1620! In BBSR, it costs 1300, and the Roots one costs 1250. Does your remote have slider cover like the Roots? It helps prevent accidental pressing of buttons. Yes, the Roots one, does provide immobilization feature...also the reminder feature, which is not there in Minda, i guess...Last edited by sachin1111; 12-01-2011, 05:40 PM.

10W30 will run better if temp.drops to freezing levels....it will give less starting problems & better circulation of oil.there is a graph given on user manual obout the range of working temp of both 10w30 & 20w40 oils.Originally posted by Ronits View PostI was reading somewhere, in winters, the lower the 'xx' part in xxWyy grade engine oil, the better it is. Is this rite? That means 10W30 is preferable to 20W40 in winters?Last edited by sachin1111; 12-01-2011, 10:06 PM.

Few problems I have been facing lately. The self starter wont work. It starts only after I keep it pressed for a long time like 5-7 seconds. The bike shows no response in the beginning but after a couple of seconds suddenly jumps to life. I topped my battery but in vain. This problem started after I got my engine flushed in the service centre. The second problem I have is that the suspension has suddenly gone hard. I can feel even minor bumps on the road. Any help guys?I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Horror, starting problems are getting more common as we are approaching winter.so check for this problem when engine is worm.fault finding can be divided in two parts,1)electrical related and 2)engine related.in most cases it is either the low battery voltage or problem associated with spark plug.battery plates do get deteriorated and are not able to supply sudden voltage required during starting and thus topping it is of no use.by the way... the battery is of sealed MF type....how come you topped it?the user manual also says not to top it off...instead replace the battery with new one.in my opinion this could be a battery fault.try connecting some spare battery and see if problem gets solved.second suspect is either the starter motor or the ignition coil.try using kick starter...if it works then either starter motor is faulty or low battery.Originally posted by Horror View PostFew problems I have been facing lately. coming to engine part,if you are sure that problem started after using engine flush oil ...then better change this present oil with new engine oil and also get the centrifugal oil filter and oil filter screen cleaned.its possible that part of flush oil has mixed with engine oil.... because even after draining some flush oil will remain in oil filter element..which will then mix with engine oil during circulation.Last edited by sachin1111; 12-02-2011, 01:16 AM.

Horror as Sachin said split the troubleshooting in two parts. Ideally you should not have any starting problems. In Nagpur winter temprature drops to 7 still I am not having any problems in using the electric start in morning. it starts at first crank. Have you tried with kick start? I check my battery voltage every month at ASC without fail.... So check that.. and you cannot top up this battery.. did you mean you removed it and charged it externally?
Rajselvam CLS protects the bike just like it does in a car not much of a diffrence my Minda came with a two year manufacturers warranty..... Did you check with the courier regarding seat covers?Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostWhat are the functions included in the CLS.Is it having warranty
