Baazi, mileage seems pretty good with Micheline, hope they will launch Tubeless type in coming days in 100/90-17 size.these tyres are soft compound hence they have very good grip ,but wonder if they will last as long like stock MRF.Originally posted by Baazigar View Post

Fyber, there should not be problem provided you follow some precautions.just make sure of following thingsOriginally posted by fybercyber View Postshall i goto hosur from chennai by twister bike...is it good idea to use 110cc engine bike to hosur.... i scared to drive from chennai to hosur bcoz its 330km from chennai...i have fear that my bike would break down in middle of nowhere....!!!!
1)JUST CHANGE THE ENGINE OIL BEFORE LEAVING FOR JOURNEY......even if your old oil is good.
2) RIDE AT MODERATE SPEEDS UNDER 70. ( ideally between 40-60)
3)lube the chain well and fill up to maximum recommended tyre pressure.
basically you must not stress the engine by riding at very high speeds(after all its 110cc engine) also shift to lower gears during steep incline instead of just raising the throttle.this will vastly reduce the engine stress and therefore chances of any breakdown will become very low.Last edited by sachin1111; 12-27-2011, 01:50 PM.

Hi,Originally posted by Baazigar View PostHi guys,
Got a K&N (RC-1060) air filter
Any more suggestions?
Would like to know, how much did the K&N filter cost you?
Also, could you tell the exact details of the one, which would fit into Twister.
And, how long did your bike run before the Air Filter change?

Route: Nagpur-Wardha(NH7 MSH3 77km)-Wardha-Amravati(Via Pulgaon SH243 108km)-Amravati- Nagpur(Asian Highway46(NH6) 153 km). Awesome performance guys all roads were good but the part of NH6 which was Asian Highway 46 was awesome built to international standards 153 Kms AH46 is a part of Asian Highway network and runs from Khargpur WB to Dhule MH. Its a part of Asian Highway 1 which connects India and Srilanka Via Dhanuskodi.... and ferry to palk strait.
Now performance of the bike..
Aboslutley stunning... I covered 92km on AH continously speedo hitting 90 for the full time... I did not accelerate further as I didn't want to take risks at 3 digit .. Back tire was not a problem though felt a lil unstable at highspeeds. Mileage of 70kmpl at speed range of 60-85 with max time spent between 75-90. Some idiot while I had parked for lunch played with back brake settings due to which I had a back wheel JAM . my CLS worked but by the time I came out guy had fled... I relaised wheel lock when pick up was nil.. adjusted the break setting all is well....No vibration felt at high-speed .. Engine worked like a HONDA marvel... Since I had changed the engine oil a week before while 3rd service did not change it.. Fiitted ROOTS Windtone horns before hitting highway one each on crashgaurd assembly.. Man they work wonder on Highway (cost inccured 500 for Horn 50 for Finolex cables. 110 for ROOTS relay.. 20 DPDT switch) I fitted on my own... so saved mech charges...bike was perfect apart from pain in butt
which will be there obviously

You can go without any scare. I did chennai to mysore without any problem.B4 you start the journey don't forgot to check the engine oil, Chain slack & lubricant. You can continuously drive to Hosur without any stops if u can, i did up to Bangalore which is 400kms..& also you can push at top speed 95+ continuously until tank get empty

I too fitted stebel air horn. But my drives are mostly on night timings, My HID will manage on nights,so horn is not required much.Originally posted by rameshap View PostFiitted ROOTS Windtone horns before hitting highway one each on crashgaurd assembly.. Even at 90s the engine ll not sounds you like struggling. For me it took 3.5hrs to reach Hosur at a constant speed of 90+.Originally posted by fybercyber View PostbY THE WAY I AM NOT INTERESTED DOING 90'S 80'S SPEED IN MY BIKE ....I RIDE ONLY AT 60KMPH STEADILY AND I DONT WANT TO DO 80KMPH ITS HIGHLY IRRITATING TO HEAR ENGINE STRUGGLING TO PULL THE BIKE....
HOW MANY HOURS IT WILL TAKE TO REACH HOSUR...4 OR 5 HRS
For your 60s speed it'll take surely more than 6 hrs but can get 80kmpl

Fyber read my report twister engine DOES NOT struggle to pull the bike I had done 92km constant at 85 kmph no vibration smooth sound... no over heating I fail to understand why you are underestimating something... Bike engines are designed to run 100's of Kms without rest at high tempratures,.. Its the skill and capability of the rider that decides most of the cases....
