Auto expo 2012 updates!!
Hero honda has launched a new bike named "Passion X Pro" with Twister 110cc engine.Also a new 125cc bike named Hero Ignitor.
It will be very interesting to see if "Passion X Pro" is anyway better then Twister.
also news coming from auto expo is that Honda will launch a new 100cc bike which sources claim to be "most fuel efficient bike in india" using A brand new engine developed by honda....to take on HH splendor/ passion in 100cc segment.
In short,
passion X pro=Twister engine in passion body
Igniter= Honda Stunner
Miestro=Honda Activa

Even they release "X PRO" with twister engine they can't beat it with style & Quality,Originally posted by sachin1111 View PostHero honda has launched a new bike named "Passion X Pro" with Twister 110cc engine.Also a new 125cc bike named Hero Ignitor.

And why the Hero company don't thing newly without borrowing Engines from Honda.
Still Xtreme & Hunk with unicorn old model engine.
100cc from honda so new competition to all 100cc bikes.

good thing is that Honda has only shared the engine but not the Twisters design.This will make Twister remain best looking bike in its class.Now one good thing i see is that since the engine is same....in case we do not find certain engine parts at Honda ASE....we can directly get it from Hero moto service center..Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostEven they release "X PRO" with twister engine they can't beat it with style & Quality,

Now if you observe carefully,passion X pro does has certain good features over Twister, such as Analog-digital console and also slightly wider rear seat which is good thing for pillion.
Thing to looks for is if it has wider rear tyre or not..They have got tubeless ones and also MF battery.

Whatever they do Honda engines are one of the best in class Hero can never match up even if they come with Passion xx-pro..... Imitations are always imitations... I converted my drum brake in to disc at Honda ASC today...Excellent job great response now... BTW I have to book a 150cc bike for myself in city as my twister will go to my dad once he shifts to Nagpur.. Guys confusion between Fazer and Dazzler help please

@vhi,color is a personal choise & differs from person to person.Go for color which you like the most.afterall its you who should feel good when you look at your bike.all colors are good.......white/green are getting more attention from people on road.Last edited by sachin1111; 01-05-2012, 10:39 PM.

Ramesh, I believe this is not the right time to go for 150cc bike. The two main players bajaj and Honda are close to launch next generation bikes in 150cc category.in fact bajaj-KTM is ready with completely new pulser to be launched by this month end or first week of feb...so just wait for it.remember next generation means that bike once launched will basically remain same for next 10-12 years and only cosmetic upgrades will take place in the form of new graphics,tail lamps etc for next 10 years or till next gen bike comes out.Dazzler is good but basically a grown up Twister with re-tuned engine of unicorn....if you like it go for it.Originally posted by rameshap View PostWhatever they do Honda engines are one of the best in class Hero can never match up even if they come with Passion xx-pro..... Real upgrade from Honda in 150cc category will come when they launch next generation Unicorn which is presently running on over a decade year old engine...which is same 150cc engine doing duty on all Honda and hero Honda models like Hunk,CBZ,dazzler.I believe it will take place in next years Auto expo..and Once that happens I will also upgrade to a 150cc and give my Twister to my younger brother.
By the way have a look at just announced new Honda Shine & "YUG". basically "Yug" has Twister engine in a simple looking Body....This bike will be cheaper then Twister and also more fuel efficient then Twister. Honda has claimed mileage of 72kmpl for YUG and for Twisters its claim is 70kmpl.one option is to Keep Twister for yourself and give new shine/Yug for dad. By the way You also own CBR 250 right....then wont it be difficult to maintain another bike?Last edited by sachin1111; 01-07-2012, 12:11 AM.

I'll accept the X-pro have some good features but TL tyre & MF battery is copied from Honda.Honda is the first company who introduced MF battery in india for bikes.Originally posted by sachin1111 View Postgood thing is that Honda has only shared the engine but not the Twisters design.This will make Twister remain best looking bike in its class.Now one good thing i see is that since the engine is same....in case we do not find certain engine parts at Honda ASE....we can directly get it from Hero moto service center..

As sachin said wait for some months to get new generation bikes even the new CBR150 is also a good choice. Else go for "Dazzler" bcz you already knows the honda quality
I personally like CBR150Originally posted by sachin1111 View PostHONDA FANS REJOICE!!

Hi Guys,
Yesterday, I fitted indicator buzzers, but to my surprise, when the mechanic was fitting it, he told that it requires a double buzzer, means two independent buzzers are required. I got 2 Minda buzzers, working fine. My question is , earlier I had one buzzer working for both left n right turn signals. But, mechanic told, since I fitted Roots lock system, now it requires two buzzers. Hope, you got my question.

I think its due to non-compatibility with circuit diagram between Roots CLS and buzzer circuit.the two wiring circuits should not interfere with each others working.....i guess that was the reason for two independent buzzers.Originally posted by Ronits View PostHi Guys,

Ya, that might be... After turning the ignition switch off, all the four indicators blink 3 times with a beep sound. This is a reminder feature of Roots CLS. Now, I observed a dual sound coming out after fitting the buzzers - 1 - Sound of existing Roots buzzer, 2 - Sound of the indicator buzzers (which should not come actually, coz im not using the indicators! Im turning the ignition switch off). Guess, this explains, the two wiring circuits interfering with each other. Please confirm. And anyone facing the same prob? Also, anyone having a single buzzer for both left n right turn indicators along with a Roots CLS, also can give his/her views. TIA.
