Ohh that's positive news. I'm expecting a drop in FE upto the limit of 5-7 kmpl. How much did the tyre cost you?Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostLast edited by Horror; 04-07-2012, 01:23 PM.I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

suspension is not that good and also non adjustable. it has been set on firm side to aid better handling so on potholes and village roads it suffers with single rider...but performs better with pillion.Originally posted by abhinavsri01 View PostHi All..
How's the suspension of the bike? How will it feel like on a road full of potholes i.e the roads that you find in villages?

Initially the suspension was good but it's feel too bad. even in small path holes it's results too hard.In in full of bath holes road you hate this bike.Originally posted by abhinavsri01 View PostHi All..

Waiting for your result...Originally posted by Baazigar View PostUnicorn, the work is half way done, apparently the carb has to be re-positioned and the air filter location has to be changed for the shock to fit in.
Hopefully it'll be done by tomo morn, my mech is doing a very neat and commendable job.

[QUOTE=sachin1111;798103]Originally posted by Baazigar View Posthere are some more pics, bike is awesome now!!!!!!
looks good.....which bikes mono-shocks are these? and how are they performing compared to previous ones over bad roads....and what was the total expense?
The suspension is from unicorn costed me 1750/- yet to get the bill for the work from my mech. have been test riding the bike since sunday afternoon and it is
much better, actually i can take corners with much more confidence now and the potholes on roads have vanished.

Nice work ! now why didn't Honda think of this in the first place and saved themselves the money for the other shocker too . Poor rear suspension seems to be a common complaint for the otherwise fine bike . Have the weld-joint areas sanded and painted properly to prevent rust from eating away the joint in the oncoming monsoons . Please keep us updated about the outcome .Originally posted by Baazigar View Post...The suspension is from unicorn ..much better, actually i can take corners with much more confidence now and the potholes on roads have vanished.

[QUOTE=Baazigar;798370]seems good job by mech...i hope repositioning the carb will not have bad effect.Unicorn's mono shock are excellent..and its worth going for it.Originally posted by sachin1111 View Post

I hope honda does something about this suspension issue in future.Honda should at least provide adjustable suspension if not mono suspension. There are no other issues with twister other than slightly smallish looking rear tyre...which can be easily upgraded to 100/90 if required.Originally posted by Pinaki View PostNice work ! now why didn't Honda think of this in the first place and saved themselves the money for the other shocker too . i did a test Drive of CBR150 today.when i first looked at bike in showroom i could not make out whether its a CBR150 or CBR250....i mean it looks so similar like a zerox copy of CBR250 in terms of size and design...only difference is in graphics and 150R logo at rear.overall CBR 150 looks better then CBR250. handling and comfort was awesome...but there was bit lack of power and torque in acceleration from 0-40 run, it feels like normal 150cc bike initially...but once past 40 its got good acceleration.Last edited by sachin1111; 04-12-2012, 05:45 PM.
