I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

1.17 ex-showroom...that comes to 1.35 lakh on road. I think CBR150 will have few takers for simple reason that adding just 20k more can get you CBR250.
more bad news coming from this years budget...as per news reports on Television says bikes will cost more and if that's not enough even cycle will cost more

        • Disc Break is not working properly

          Hi Experts,

Today I almost missed an accident.
I thought I can use front break in combination with rear one and stop in line, but couldn't able to do it properly even though front break almost touched the throttle/accelerator, but bike didn't stop and have to use only rear break and legs to stop.

This was happening since 3 weeks felt during stops at signals, ignored due to negligence.

Any suggestions on how to tight the disc break (if possible both front and rear) with pics or videos would do great.

Check the break lining for any leakage & Break oil level.

            • Guys, at last...I could get rid of the miser inside me for some time. I bought the Cramster Breezer riding jacket. It's nice. It got the padding at shoulders, elbows, and upper back. Material is good. At some part it's kind of mesh (for air flow). There are 2 removable inner lining One is as rain guard and other is for winter. From the store to my home I wore it without the inner linings but the heat inside was bearable. But my arms where sweating. I think I need to wear a full sleeve T shirt while riding. And guess what; when he knew that I'm a member of xbhp he gave it for Rs5000.

Your brake lines(Pipes) may have air bubbles or your brake lines are kaput.
Get the brakes bled and change the brake oil,if brakes doesn't improve replace the lines.
Also make sure there is no leakage.

My bike crossed 24k kms Still i'm not using any chain spray but simply using Grease+Used engine oil mixture.
                  Dear Rajaselvam,

I'm sorry. I was not in station and could not reply on time.
Hope u r in Chennai. I bought Xtron from a shop in GP road. I think it is Anand Auto. Behind LIC. The cost of the can is Rs.110 / -.

Coming bak to my Indeoneasan experience shared by a mechanic. Grease + oil should not be used for chains. It helps u immediately, but attracts more dirt and dust reducing the life of the chain on the longer run. The excess grease also falls polluting the mother earth. Try this and give ur feedback. Haapy riding.

Do you have any idea about which tyre is best. I want to change both my tyres.

adding grease is of not much use. in my opinion it adds to the pain of cleaning because grease attracts lot if dust and when it gets hard it is difficult to clean also grease does not penetrate deep like oil does thus its less effective .use SAE90 oil..that is enough.give more importance to keeping chain clean because dirty chain does more damage.

                        • Guys, I went for a G2G last sunday organized for/by Kochi and Thrissur members. It was my first G2G. It was fun. Around 15 bikes were there, and we went to a nearby dam. Spend some time chatting and taking photos. A good experience.
