First of all hearty congrats for the marriage. At this point of time a new cbr is beyond my budget (as a family man

) . I was waiting for the duke. but unfortunately, my city doesn't have a dealer. So fixed on pulsar as it is expected to be below 1 lac. I'm aware of it's quality issues. But as I told earlier, in a couple of years will be upgrading to duke 350.

hey sangy, good effort!! here are few more things to add to the list.

speedometer cable = Rs 45
odometer cable = Rs 72
engine oil Drain washer(12mm) = Rs 2
Spark plug cap = Rs 60
Side mirror each = RS 74
Air filter = Rs 135
Honda 10W30 oil is cheaper by Rs 10 as compared to Honda 20W40 oil
there are few things which others can share such a price of battery,Ignition coil, tyres(stock).
note that there may be some difference in prices due different tax rates in different states also prices may change later due to inflation.

I just received my monthly overdrive magazine... they have reviewed the Pulser 200NS. as per the review the performance of 200NS is almost same as Duke200.but the new pulser200NS is more fuel efficient then duke by around 10-13kmpl...due to three spark plugs. Bajaj is also claiming mileage of 58kmpl @ constant 55km/hr speed (under idle test condition)and pulser is more silent then Duke at all speeds.
The BIKE INDIA magazine has also reviewed pulser.you can download the magzine from below link.

if they just work on the build quality....nobody is going to beat pulsar 200NS..

I hope it will live up to the hype. By the way, I checked mileage on highway at an average 55kmphr. It returned 75kmpl (no difference after the tyre change). I also checked mileage in real life conditions(regular office rush hour speeding, bumper to bumper, weekend getaway etc combined) it is 55 kmpl. So the significant drop in mileage is only while doing the full throttle speeding.

finally some good news here in Goa!! newly elected BJP government has announced that they will reduce the petrol prices in goa by whopping Rs 11 next month thus bringing down petrol price to less than 55 Rs/liter. This has been made possible by removing the 22% VAT imposed on petrol. I will go for a tank full next month

got duplicate air filter for 100 rs. was not a genuine honda spare as in most showrooms air filter is not available since past 6 months.
