  • Yesterday I opened the cylinder head & found black horizontal patch on rocker arm mounts as shown in image below. Is there any problem? I'm a noob so I have no idea about it.

I will personally check that out in showroom....and if its indeed same then it is capable of taking even 130 section tyre which is already present on CBR150.....thus a 120 section tyre would be fine.
looking at closely it's seems like stunner alloy, it's same in dia but bit wider in width compare to twister alloy ...

        • I've upsized the tyre to 100mm and the bike seems to be slightly sluggish. Anything above that will make things even worse. You might try some performance upgrade before going for upsizing.

Dude is their any problem with bike what was the reason for opening the cover? that rocker arm seems to be for operating exhaust valve which expels burnt gases out...and if the valve is leaking then possibly the patch of carbon can appear. although i am not sure but it does not look serious problem to me.better check the tappet settings

110/80 will fit as long as Rim is 17 inch but Michelin have not launched 110/80 size as of now...only 3.0-17 and 100/90-17 size are available and their are no Tubeless tyres available in Michelin. there are many other brands like MRF/Ceat/Dunlop Geocruiser etc

Yes, u r right. There was no valve clearance. I've adjusted it & now exhaust sound is louder & better.

                      • Hi All,
My bike is giving a mileage of 66 kmpl... I generally ride it, in speeds ranging from 40-50 kmph... have removed the saree cover too... have tried to keep the bike in mint condition... Withe no modifications done to tires... or any other mod... Should I have got more mileage?? What do experts here say!! How can I improve on it ?

                        • Your fuel mileage is similar to what I hear from other twister owners in this congested city of Kolkata , a bit higher even ... no problem .

u r getting a decent mileage. Don't do anything for improve mileage then finally it'll end up with drop in mileage... My bike also giving me round 65kmpl only...

                            • TVS Tyre for Twister!!

Guys, Honda has given this below mentioned Tvs tyre as an second alternative in place of MRF zapper. Its approved by Honda and its of same size 80/100-17 Tubeless. it has slightly different thread design
model number : ATT 750M TL for Rear and ATT 525M TL for front.

                              TVS Tyres

                              http://www.tvstyres.com/details.php?...NT%2040P&vid=4

I have not seen this tyre on Any Twister so far but since its approved by Honda it will be good option if you do not want to compromise on mileage...now the thing we need to know is whether it has better grip then Stock MRF....so if you guys find this Tvs tyre do let us know.
