seems like a difficult task to modify the seat.....as it comes in one single piece.Originally posted by ankurkaul17 View PostLast edited by sachin1111; 05-13-2012, 05:03 AM.

Ya TVS is not having decent grip on these low profile tyres..When you going 100+ selection it's having decent gripOriginally posted by rameshap View PostTVS tyres on honda bikes are mostly found in southern states were they are popular. TVS has it's tyre manufacturing plant in TN. But compared to MRF i feel TVS are no good enough. This is puerly my personal opinion
It's much easy job ya.. There is only four screws which holding the mask you can easily remove them your own.. The speedo bulbs are just plugged to speedometer by a rubber holder so you can pull it easily & replace a LED bulb.Originally posted by gopinathann View PostGuys,
I recently purchased a White color Twister. I am planning to change the speedometer bulb with White LEDs. How to remove it and change the bulb, any idea what is the bulb type.
Originally posted by sachin1111 View PostI think the stock bulb has AC set up....and those LEDs mostly work on DC....so there is a need to be convert AC to DC using rectifier....or take supply directly from battery. the stock bulb has 1.7 watts rating.
Ya led's had DC supply but nowadays modern SMD LED's works on both AC & DC supply, so it's direct fit you no need to get power from battery it'll directly works on AC power but it costs more than the normal DC LED'S

My bike is aligning

. it's align even on a free & smooth straight road even at a speed of 30+ , it'll start align suddenly & comes to normal & after sometime it'll again start align, i don't know the reason,I've checked the air pressure on tyres it's in exact pressure, mechanic checked the alloys & Forks there is no bend he also got confused & also couldn't find the reason,

No ya not at all... After checking all the things mechanic finally said rear tyre is aligning, Ya i rode the bike 4kms at puncture condition, There is no puncture shops so i ride it. What mechanic says is the internal metal wires of tyre got bended so you have to change the tyre..Originally posted by Baazigar View PostUr bike had a fall recently?

if the internal wires are bent then mechanic must be right. If you have the Twisters old MRF tyre...then put it and see if its working ok....this will confirm if your Micheline tyre is faulty.have you done any other modifications to bike?Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostNo ya not at all... Honda has launched a new Bike "Dream yug" which is technically same as twister but less stylish and priced just around 1-2k less then Twister. Honda aims to eat the market share of Splendour and passions with this new bike.....whereas bajaj has launched their Discover 125 again for third time
...but they have done a proper upgrade this time with mono shocks and new chasis.

This is a good thing that dream Yug shares same engine as Twister.....This will ensure engine spare parts availability for twister for many years to come.Akshay Kumar is brand ambassador to promote this bike.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostTwister Engine + Shine Body = Dream Yuga
Honda seems to have lowered the power rating in this engine to extract more mileage in dream Yug.....the same engine in dream yug now makes 8.5 bhp @7500 rpm and 8.91 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm compared to Twister's 9BHP@8000RPM and 9Nm@ 6000RPM ...as a result of this reduced power....mileage has increased to 72kmpl in dream yug compared to 70kmpl in twister.
Can paying Akshay Kumar Rs 50 crore to become brand ambassador for the 100cc commuter bike, the Dream Yuga, help Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (Private) Ltd take the number one position by displacing Hero MotoCorp's hot-selling splendor? Of course not, feels biking enthusiast and blogger Faisal Ali Khan.Last edited by sachin1111; 05-19-2012, 02:12 AM.
