Phillips extreme vision is 55/60 watt halogen AFAIK . Similar to the Osram nightbreaker . The phillips bulb may also be available in singles pack too , I heard .Originally posted by sachin1111 View PostLast edited by Pinaki; 09-07-2011, 01:35 AM.

Sachin This is a 55W Halogen. Philps claims it will give 80% Xtra lighting. But definetly it give 40-60% xtra,I saw this on my freind's pulsar. Its awesome. Btw I booked a Honda CBR 250r

Pinaki Ji what are your views on Phliphs bulbs? Is it adviceable to change or should I stay with stock settings ? My night riding is not too much as of nowOriginally posted by Pinaki View PostI am reading this post over n over ... sweet victory !! Now I wish I wasn't so soft on my HeroHondaASS

If you are not happy with stock 35/35 headlight out put , you have to change either to HID or the 50/60 Halogen...Originally posted by rameshap View PostPinaki Ji what are your views on Phliphs bulbs? It is H4 type, and if your stock bulb is like the standard car headlight bulb then it will suit..The type of bulb and holder specifications will be in the owners manual...The CBR250 is much better now than the first lot...do not go expecting the bike to do steady 150 to 160 Kmph...the bike can do 130 and anything above is dependent on many things. If you want a Tourer to cruise all day at 120 Kmph then CBR will do.If you are looking for 100 to 110 cruising the the Karizma -R is VFM..CBR has good road grip, and acceleration, and Karizma too has good road grip and has better fuel efficiency than CBR.Originally posted by rameshap View PostPSR Ji Will Philphs Suit my twister? Thanks!!! Guys I always fill the same brand fuel in my tank unleaded HP petrol. What are your views (Is this a good practice?). And I also try to fill it from the same station as far as possible.

Ramesh, point i was trying to make is that 55W bulb will always give more light than 35W because it draws in more watts to burn.but the thing to look for is if this will have any effect on electrical system of bike.since the amount of power generated by alternator is limited, other electrical consumers like ignition system/battery/and lights other than headlight will get lesser power.Originally posted by rameshap View PostPSR Ji Will Philphs Suit my twister? By the way I am waiting for bajaj-KTM Duke 200 which could be my next bike.
The CBR250 is more of a tourer bike great for long distance riding.I am looking for powerful light weight bike with strong low & mid range torque for easy city riding and overtaking.Last edited by sachin1111; 09-07-2011, 05:32 PM.

City Riding Twister is excellent great milage and pick up... A 200 cc is definetly a performance bike .... Why dont u consider Dazzler.. I find bajaj bikes not of great quality san pulser 220.... Honda Quality is great... Dazzler or even twister 250cc which will be available by November

KTM is very famous Internationally for their naked racing bikes. They are soon coming to India and bajaj will manufacture bikes using technology provided by KTM.this is same as Kawasaki Ninja being sold in india in collaboration with bajaj.even CBR150 is also likely to come to india by this year end.I would love to see Twister 250cc in India as it will beat Karizma with same price tag.Dazzler is good but looks somewhat similar to Twister from a distance & just 1 second difference in 0-60 run.Originally posted by rameshap View PostCity Riding Twister is excellent great milage and pick up... Twister CBX250 seems to be stripped down in terms of way it looks,ie no side flaring and has simple looks but its engine is quite powerful making 24BHP. difference being it has carburetor in place of fuel injection. Twister 250 weight is just 139kg which is lighter than many 150cc bikes making it fun to drive and it makes most of its power at lower RPM thus does not require expensive liquid cooling system.I think it will kill Apache RTR and Karizma hands down.if looks is not the top priority then IMHO this is probably the best value for money 250cc bike.Originally posted by rixBhp View Posti gave a search in the google. From pics the Twister250 cc appears to be a stripped down version of other 250CCs(CBR250R and CBR250RR) . Like shine against stunner. What do u guys say?Last edited by sachin1111; 09-07-2011, 09:11 PM.

The holder will suit as both HS1 and H4 bulbs can be made to fit same holders ... check your current bulb type . But the problem will arise with the twister's alternator beacuse it wouldn't produce enough juice ( amps ?) to power up a 60/55 watt bulb to full brightness in the headlight channel . Then it may just glow yellowish and produce less light than a full-glowing 35watt bulb actually . In fact no one can guess that for sure .. it may or may not ... depends how much load Honda designed the headlight coil for ... wanna test it for 600 ?Originally posted by rameshap View PostPSR Ji Will Philphs Suit my twister? hmm .. if you could borrow a 60 watts h4/hs1 bulb from someone just for a try ... If it works .. the philips light would be awesum !
You are deeply enamored with Honda now
. Congrats for your new bike in advance .

Hmmm....looks are okay. If it behaves like a big brother of twister..it will be awesome. It seems a crash guard can also be fixed (i'm more concerned about the safety). Let's hope it comes for 1.25LOriginally posted by sachin1111 View PostTwister CBX250 seems to be stripped down in terms of way it looks,ie no side flaring and has simple looks but its engine is quite powerful making 24BHP. difference being it has carburetor in place of fuel injection.
