( I've been on the bid for a few there
) ... they are greatly sought after by pro rifle-shooters and hunters & outdoorsmen worldwide . They are photochromatic too .. turning a deeper brown in the sun . Unfortunately you'll get them in vintage only ( and fakes abound ) , B&L has stopped making them long ago ... infact B&L doesn't make RayBay glasses anymore , they've sold off that business line to Luxottica group (Italy) in the late 80's . So all current Raybans are not glass but polymer lense embossed RB on the lense . I have an original(1970s) US air-force issue glass lense G-15 rayban ( the one I wear in my profile pic
) etched BL on the glass edge . No other markings on lense . US air-force (mil-spec) prohibits the familiar white rayban markings on lense for fear of interference with vision during a crucial maneuver . Grt for me , everyone thinks it's a knock-off and it hasn't got stolen like the last one I had
.Serengeti drivers are currently in production ( I got two ) .. within 100-200$ .. and exceptionally good for driving (they are contrast enhancing amber too) . Once you use one while riding/driving .. you'll get addicted
. Mucho better than the G-15 grey-green Rayban I have atleast until I bag an ambermatic within 200$ some lucky lucky day . Read these customer feedbacks on Amazon here .... http://www.amazon.com/Serengeti-Avia.../dp/B000R2YYT4The only Rayban made currently for driving ( good really ) is their B-15 Brown lense ones . Sorry for the OT .

, eyewear is out of question and full-helmet becomes more messy-time-comsuming, hence prefer half ones.
