  • The top speed I have reached on my bike is around 100 or 99....I was paying more attention to the road than the speedo. My friend on his 220 said I was doing 100 easily... It's very difficult to go beyond 100.
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Were you able to calibrate your speedo with your friend's digital. Digital speedos dont have much error(2- 3 kmph difference). Where as the normal speeds have 5 - 15 kmph error. I remember my old classic pulsar used to show 125 kmph lols.
By the way... i get a squealing sound from the rear brake (many bikes have that). Is it time to change it's brake shoes? Or is it because of the rainy humid season that caused dirt to accumulate inside? My bike has completed 15000kms. What are the things to be changed at this point? spark plug? brake shoes?

Most of the digital speedometers are wrong and shows differences of 10-15km/h (Including pulsar,No offense to pulsar owners) ,Karizma ZMR has the most accurate speedometer, only 1-2km/h difference.Tested with speedgun.

Might be,Get it checked from a local mechanic.

        I don't think so.

        Just my personal opinions.

        Change sparkplugs
        change airfilter
check chain for wear and adjust and lube it as required.
        Check brake shoes for wear
        check tire air pressure

If you replace the airfilter and sparkplug, you will definitely feel the difference.

        • As per maintenance chart of Twister, maximum air filter life is 15k and spark plug has life span of 9k.get both air filter and spark changed now otherwise it will affect the engine life.Brake shoe life depends purely on usage, considering you have done 15k i think better to change it.

Life mentioned in the manual varies and IMO spark plug and air filter should be replaced every 10000kms. These things don't cost a bomb.

Guys how to get an xbhp sticker? Please help. The other day Honda Service center at the dealer refused to sell a bottle of engine oil . They said I could get the bike there when ever I wanna replace. I knew the showroom owner and General manager personally. But Instead of approaching them I called the Honda HQ in Gurgaon and told the rep that either he resolve it or I will write to Honda Motors Japan. ZAAPP!!! 10 minutes I got a call from the service center /Showroom Owner apologizing. In front of me he ordered the Service center that a bottle of engine oil, Motul chain cleaing spray and a Honda back pack along with a flower Bouquet be delivered at my door step in 30 minutes and a satisfaction letter be taken as a sign off... And Guys these thing arrived in 30 miutes Free of Cost!!! I just wanted engine oil for which I was ready to pay and Wow!!!

I bought a pair of Cramster brand from my home town for Rs 1000. They are good but cannot be used in the rain. Check out this link from ebay. You can get a few in the range of Rs500+
Get a knee guard too. Don't go for Fox (the one listed in the link). It's waist of money

                              • The stock bulb on Twister is rated at 35/35 watts, running on AC set up.so ideally you should put a Bulb of same rating.for Example 55W bulb is not recommended. Is this philps xtreme vision bulb a LED bulb or its the Halogen?
