Should not be any problem if factory kit is fitted at ASC . But you need not do this unless you find serious shortcoming with the present drum brake . This is a relatively light bike . There is not that much improvement to be found it , vis-a-vis the cost involved vs a well maintained drum system .

Very well explained & nice system by Sachin'jee ...always scared that I've overtightened the plug ... now I'll surely try this reference mark system ..
With a new plug , you may have to tighten the thing more than the instructed 1/8 th of a turn after hand tightened snug . This is because you'll observe in a new plug , it will have a new sealing-washer kinda ring on the plug neck ... when new this needs to be crushed when tightened . After the first use , the 1/8th turn thing applies thereafter . However it should still come to rest around the reference mark of full-tight that you may have made earlier .. give or take a few millimeters (I think ).

    • Bought the items. Listing them here, just in case if somebody wants to know the price:
Honda Engine Oil 1 liter 228.75
      Washer 1.92
      Spark Plug 85.58
      Element Comp (Airfilter) 131.74
By the way, guys, I had a minor fall today. But luckily I was wearing jacket, glows and knee guard. There were dirt on right hand glow and right side knee guard. If those riding gears were not on, wounds would have replaced those dirt marks.

yes pinaki ji agree with you,the 1/8 turn method applies to already used plug which you may take out for cleaning and refitting.
@rix,user manual (page 50)has given this point that when fitting a brand new unused plug first give 1/2 turn,(this is to crush the sealing washer..as pinaki said)then unscrew the plug and then tighten again by giving 1/8 turn.
in case of confusion, get it done from Honda ASE and then for future cleaning and refitting follow the method i mentioned.

remesh, wait for service center guy to give his opinion...i think it will cost you over 5k and they may change the front rim.In my opinion...your drum brakes are quite new(considering bike is less than 2k old)..so why not use the drum brakes for a while and when they get worn out get the disk.
one more thing is ..disk brakes loose their bite in rains as compared to drum which are not affected.

          • hello guys, i'm a nube frm b'lore. own a cb twister myself. love the paint quality on the bike! butter smooth engine, and amazing throttle response. Just wish honda had added an extra gear, the bike deserves it! Right now i'm getting a mileage of around 60kmpl. Any guyide lines on how to improve the mileage? the dhruvdesh honda showroom in yelahanka records a max of 88kmpl! I usually drive bw 50-70kmph. I'm also facing a problem with the front cowl either one of the two vibrate and produce a sound. its takin away the pleasure of the ride. i informed the guys back in the showroom and they put some gum to one side. What should i do? can i get the cowls replaced under warranty?

            • I installed the plug myself. Thanks again Sachin and Pinaki for your directions. But I noticed that the new one is not NGK, it is Bosch (I asked for Twister spark plug at the ASC). Hope that wouldn't be a problem.

              • Rix,i cant understand why honda ASE gave Bosh plug when usermanual clearly recommends using NGK.I hope its approved by honda.could you give us the model number of this Bosh plug?

madhav, me too facing this same problem.it started after a miner accident i met with just a small paint scratch at that time but there was no vibration. but over the period of 6 months the vibration has slowly started surrounding the headlight area and its increasing steadily...and i can hear the Tarrrr....sound at low speeds these days.
looking at the front cowl it is fixed using some black color Adhesive..as you said.. to a housing that holds instrument like speedo etc.In my case this adhesive has lost contact with cowl.as per ASE This front cowl is replaceable(it costs around 1k i think),you may claim the warranty if its not your fault like accident.....as in my case.I have not yet tried fixing it with adhesive..but will try once to see if it works.

Thanks sachin, i'll try getting it replaced. The adhesive works but its a mess. If its not sometning like quick fix it keeps comin off. But the quick fix ruins the paint.

Clean off the oil patch well with paper-tissue and keep an eye on the area ... lets see if any oil re-appears there . Could be just some external oil somehow .
Clean chain with kerosene and toothbrush . If you've already purchased the motul chain spray , you may just as well use it after cleaning .. it's very good . If not bought the motul yet , don't , use SAE90/EP90 gear oil ( castrol or the cheaper BP , mak's okk too .. ) with same toothbrush , it's cheap and just as good . Psr advices grease afterwards , which I tried ( after the gear oil) and found to substantially reduce chain noise , goooood . The blackish heavy petroleum grease I have is messy . Chains are made of very hard steel , I can't see any oil hardening it any further .

isn't it ? I still need to find time to go to shop for a set ... want spanners that don't slip .

Ramesh,as pinaki said, fully wipe that oil and keep a close eye on that area...see if oil appears again, also keep eye on oil drain bolt.i.e wipe any oil on drain bolt with paper/cloth and see if any oil appears around drain bolt for next few days.Did you oiled your chain few days back?it could be that too much of oil has been put on chain for lubrication..this excess oil could drip down from anywhere....as chain keeps moving. also for next few days keep checking the engine oil level on daily basis for any drop in level..till you are sure no more oil is coming.
chain looses its life due to dirt, dryness & normal wear & tear....SAE90 oil is good enough though it requires more frequent lubrication as compared to spray.
