            I,m also having an issue somewhat similar to Karthik94's.Riding handsfree I can feel a drag towards the left.This issue came up after I had run over a gutter.

              The speedo cable of my bike has broken again. This is happening the second time. Last time i had changed the whole cable(110 rs i think). Can i change only the internal cable only? If yes which bike's will fit?

                      Does anyone have the service manual for CB Twister? sachin1111, were you able to get the shop/service manual? ashwinprakas, you have CRF230 shop/service manual, are you able to get the CB Twister manual?

                      From the CB Twister owner's manual: (4th non numbered page; Welcome) "Honda shop manual on paid basis to help you perform many maintenance and repair tasks"

                      *We have this bike in the Philippines, but it is called CB 110. Honda Philippines does not want to sell the shop/service manual. I have searched this forum and this thread, just in case it has already been uploaded. Thank you all.

                        Sorry for being OT, but do any of you from Bangalore know a good local mechanic to get bike serviced ?
                        I dont want to visit Honda ASC anymore and would prefer to get the bike serviced outside

                          Hi to all!
                          Have been reading various threads and i must say that i am amazed to see the level of expertise of members.
                          Will post here the ownership experience of my year old Dream Yuga.

                          I work at the rural place about 100 kms from Pune. Was considering a 100 cc bike (considering low budget + high mileage). After comparing and taking TD of a few bikes, finally decided to purchase Dream Yuga for its peppy engine and handling characteristics.
                          Got delivery of bike on Dassera (24th Oct), 2012 from Saraf Honda, Baramati (Dist. Pune). Fuel efficiency during the first few months was around 62.5 kmpl (this figure was achieved on a mix of good and bad roads). During one Pune trip, she returned 75 kmpl.
                          But after Feb-Mar 13, the mileage gradually declined to below 55 kmpl. One possible cause was fuel theft from petrol cock which I strongly suspected. I tried highway runs at constant 40 kmph in one shot (so that I could eliminate the fuel theft perpsective) and got only 60 kmpl. I did complain to the authorised service station but they made the condition worse.
                          Finally decided to do DIY and after reading carburettor tuning method as discussed by sibun, pinaki, shoeb, paul, psr, etc on Splendor thread, I tuned the AFR myself (2.5 turns anti-clockwise from fully closed) and now the FE is back to 62-63 kmpl. However i have noticed the following:
                          1. while doing button start, bike does not start unless i give slight throttle.
                          2. after starting rpm increases and then gradually lowers.
                          3. after doing a run of 40-50 km (or even less in hot conditions) after switching off the engine, if i again try to switch it on then the engine wont start unless i apply sufficient throttle. In this situation, the engine will stall unless i give some throttle for a few seconds; otherwise it wont sustain.
                          4. Is my AFR ok or am i running lean?
                          5. The place where i live, the climate is really windy from Holi to Diwali (almost 9 months). Can strong wind adversely affect FE?

                            hi milind, AFR is to be set at a point where you get highest RPM.....this also helps solving the engine stalling problem to some extent).but if your mileage is ok then better not to mess with it too much.Now you should check the idle screw setting. The idle screw on DY is located right next to AFR screw. once the engine gets sufficiently warmed up (after riding 4-5km) adjust the idle screw to make the RPM "stable." by carefully listening to engine sound. stable RPM means engine should beat constantly without any pause for second.in other words there should not be irregular beat from exhaust.also the RPM should be high enough(normally about 1400-1500 RPM). In Twister, spark leakage through stock HONDA spark plug cap is now a known problem which causes engine stalling.In my opinion plug cap failure is due to too much heat generated by the resister inside the cap)i do not know if thats the issue present in DY. In my Twister this cap problem has got permanently solved after changing the stock Honda 4K ohms cap to pulsers 1k ohm cap which generates very little heat.

                            Hi jeriel, great to see you on this forum. I have been reading the motorcyclephilippines.com forum specially the CB100 technical & modifications forum...though i could only understand things written in english. unfortunately i could not get my hands on Service manual as the service manager refuse to hand it to me.... i am still trying to get it from some other service center.

                              2.5 turns seems to be ideal and that seems to be best setting on my bike as well
                              Even my bike has low mileage (getting aruond 45 now a days) for teh engine stalling i think cleaning the spark plug or increasing idle setting might help.

                                Its been months since i am here. Worklife has gone outta balance
                                Quick updates on my twister.
                                6 months on the Ceat Zoom 100/90-17 . Yet to see the tyre on Ceat's website but have seen many on road, mostly on pulsars. Apparantly couple of pulsars in my apartment have this tyre now. The tyre is decent., with good traction even when you corner hard(on 100cc standards ). Better wet grip than the stock rear tyre, but not like michelin pilot sporty. Low grip on mud patches..
                                The meter assy is blown. speedo and odo not working since 22990kms on odo. Should have run 10000kms more min.

                                couple of oil changes. Shell advance 10W40, fully synthetic.

                                Went on an one day trip Chennai >bangalore >Chennai on the New year, round about 800kms.
                                Changed the Head light bulb since long beam fuse has gone. stock config, Bosch make
                                Changed the air filter today.


                                Am planning for a trip Chennai >Pune >Chennai on my Twister in first week on Feb. Need advise on things to check and look on.
                                the longest trip so far is the chennai > Bangalore >Chennai that i had mentioned above. I didnt had to check much on the bike for this and Chennai<->Bangalore route is quite familiar to me as i have done many trips on car. Now i've been to pune only on flights and never on road. So need advise from veterans on things to prepare.

                                Luggage is gonna be just a backpack so no much worry on that front.

                                Planning for a custom made visor. Any suggestions, from chennai?

                                Since the front suspension is taking hit with the high profile rear tyre Looking to change the rear suspension to Pulsar's Nitorx before this trip. Got a quote of 1500INR from a Bajaj parts store. non OE, brand name Endurance. can i go for it? Nanbarajaselvam_1987 can you help me out here?

                                feel free to suggest things to check, as am new to this route.
