      As you can guess, I don't see any Bridgestone on bikes in India. That photo was from one friend from PH

      But Be aware for that Setup you have to remove the chain cover. Handling and suspension performance would be affected also as our roads are close to OFF Road :/. It would be a nice little overgearing too ~5.2%

        and yes its actually a 1972 model VW 1300
        They call it "Pagong" (turtle) lol

          Guys i need some advice...
          I have twister with drum brakes and i was thinking about replacing it with disc brakes this morning. Is it possible, if yes is it advisable to do so? What will be the cost of it ?

            Definitely possible but the front wheel need to be replaced with a new one that supports the Rotor (Disk) along with the whole front break kit. I don't know the exact cost but its will definitely cost upwards 8,000 Rs or more

              hey fellow xbhp members !
              I purchased twister a few months back !
              really awesome bike ! changed my opinion for bikes !!! One thing was bothering me though, i couldn't really get past 60kmph, at the moment, in 4th gear @50kmph, it feels engine is reving and should shift to 5th gear to increase speed considerably, but dont have 5th...what kind of problem is this ? i dont really need speed above 50 though cuz only ride in traffic area !!! btw, this is my first bike & my first post ! m a complete newbie !

                Suppose you are carrying out services as mentioned in the owners manual, 750Km 1st, 2500km 2nd and so on.. Make sure you are not storing any cleaning cloths or papers in the Air intake chamber under the seat. Few other things you can make sure proper inflation of both Tyre, Engine oil level and drive chain freeplay. If you still face same issue just report to Service and explain the issue. Your engine oil strainer screen and/or filter may need to be cleaned.

                And regarding Vibration may be the Tank or Oil cap the culprit. In my case the Fuel Tank Cap is the source of major Vibration (Sound) around 4.5K RPM. just check by putting one hand over the suspected position during riding or neutral reving.

                  umm...bike has clocked around 550Km at the moment, dont get much time to enjoy it, there's nothing under the seat to block air intake, wheels are having proper pressure...i thought the guys at service centre intentionally changed gear ratio, if it is possible, to prevent newbie like me going to speed above 60 !

                    No its not possible. So you are saying on a empty patch of road you hit full throttle and Speedometer stays under 60 Km/h ? Btw that speedo inaccurate to some extent mine show +5 km/hr than actual

                      umm no, all i m saying is, it feels like i have to shift up the gear if i increase throttle ! but m already in 4th !! i never actually tried full throttle !
                      could there b a problem with clutch ???
                      i have yet to complete 1000km so, wont be opening throttle completely in foreseeable future !

                        Yea its normal as this engine produces a slight higher Peak Power at a bit higher revolution than its Class. After 60 you need to rev to cross upper limit.. It will be little nosier and slight vibration which are normal around/post 6K rpm. Its perfectly normal.
                        just know your throttle.. will get a better experience after run in.. for sure

                          thank you very much ! i hope thats the case ! cuz i feel gear ratio are messed up ! have to shift to 4th after 40kmph ! but gear markings on speedometer show diff. story !! can we install aftermarket tachometer to bikes ??? btw, thread feels dead ! except for u and me !

Based on the suggestions in this thread, I went with Ceat vertigo 100/9017 inch tubeless for extra grip (Rs 1950). I will update once riding with the new tyre.
