Been riding this little Honda cb since last fortnight. Odo shows around 1600 km getting consistent FE around 80 KM/L. Occasional false neutral between 2nd and 3rd shifting and non-O ring chain is a annoyance, being used in a dusty and hilly Roads. A O-Ring chain would have been no-brainer.

About "cleaning the Engine oil filter strainer" does is supposed to checked on first service ? the ASS guys just changed the Engine oil

On owners manual (page 42) honda has given a maintenance chart.... in that its mentioned that oil centrifugal filter and oil strainer screen is to be cleaned during first service and there after every 12000km. I think method of cleaning the oil filter for twister will be more or less similar to CBF125(stunner). As you can see in that link CBF stunner owner is referring to service manual...in that all the detailed procedure for oil filter cleaning is given. If we can get our hands on service manual then we can carry out all maintenance work....

Edward, have you seen new Tvs Apache RTR?....it has similar engine cowl. check with your local mech if it can be fitted under the Twister engine.

After 1700 KM of Run-In, Decided to take a highway ride and Driven 1100 KM in two days (550 up and down) around (11-13 Hrs) stretch. It yields a FE of ~78 KM/L, Total ~14.5 Liters of fuel worth 1075 Rs spent on Gas. Driven @ 60 to 80 KM/Hr.

Initial observation: The Drag is noticeable after crossing 70 with mild vibe but with a little forward slanting it post a post 80 mark without much effort (Very good throttle response) (Low curb weight to blame for the Wind drag) (Engine temperature feels normal @ continuous riding, though its winter here).

Again my speedometer accuracy is ~ +/- 5 km/hr.

On the down side one of the front suspension is leaky and opened it up for a check at second service. Reveal legible marks on the Pipe but not enough to claim a replacement "according to service person" /: still under first month ! he advised me to ride hard for few month and get the front fork replaced.

Shifting is relatively smoother after second oil change at 2300

Very good for a daily commuter albeit little underpowered for highway and Mountain roads.

They agreed to replace the front fork (left side) after taking a look. Waiting to see How that fares

Does it recommended that we change fork oil in both suspension (front) togather ? Because During the the Stump replacement only one side oil changed and i am feeling little weird vibration on the handle ( May be placebo :_) . both fork working as they should in speed breakers but it may have little difficulty absorbing unpaved tarmac (little bumps)

It is recomemded to change oil in both the forks at the same time wheneven its required. As the fluid loses its viscosity and properties over time, when one is filled with new oil, it creates imbalance between the two.

Will get both leveled on next service :/ the official Service guys should have taken care of it - as the oil was paid by me, nvm. But another head turning issue is the Shifting, Though occasional, sometimes it sticks between 2 to 3 and/or 3 to 4 th gear and rarely 2nd gear refuse to engage for few second. Down-shifting is problem free. When my local Mech observed the issue he suggested me to change the 'Gear Leaver Spring' during Service. Any idea on such solution and whats that is !

But i am really reluctant to let those guys on ASS to play around the Motor. They say, I quote " Every Honda shows this Shifting issue to some degree". Regarding their workmanship in this particulate ASS, i find scratch marks on Tank and right engine casing in two free service that to oil change only. Though i don't rode in side city traffic much this shifting issue need to taken care of if possible.

That was a Bridgestone BATTLAX BT-39 Most probably 120/80-17M/C

As you can guess, I don't see any Bridgestone on bikes in India. That photo was from one friend from PH

But Be aware for that Setup you have to remove the chain cover. Handling and suspension performance would be affected also as our roads are close to OFF Road :/. It would be a nice little overgearing too ~5.2%

I think upto 110 could be setup without taking off the chain guard but the suspension should be replaced to a slightly shorter one to compensate the height gain & I think pulsar's shock is a direct fit.By the way,thanks for the info.Likewise,if you have any other views,queries,infos or ideas,you can discuss it here.

You can use 110/70, so effectively height would be 77mm (deafault 80/100 = 80 mm) thats 3mm lower than stock. Just saying
