Re: Minor update to Twister model
See...they are similiar in way that both questions are incomplete. Which one is better , Yamaha or Honda ? what are parameters to compare them ? Reliability, mileage, after sales support, spare parts, Value For Money, maintenance cost............list goes on buddy.Originally posted by smartrider View PostBro yours is not at all a simile, coz sun & moon differ like day & night.

I think Yamaha is better respective of quality & balance, even visibly.

Re: The Honda CB Twister
friends, Honda has launched a 2013 Dream Yuga With HET. This is a slightly modified version of original twister engine that gives 2kmpl more. I think Honda may bring this "HET" engine on Twister as well in coming months...so new twister owners will get 2kmpl more. Re: The Honda CB Twister
First of all Twister crash guard is very flimsy. No point going for another one from show room. Just weld that area and use it until you get better qualityOriginally posted by shubhakv View Postcrash guard for honda twister

after market crash guard.
Yes all the crash guards are made up of steel tubes and black ones are powder coated or black painted.

Re: The Honda CB Twister
When i bought my bike Twister (very first batch to arrive at showroom)crash guard and other accessories for twister were not available.so service centre guy fitted the crash guard of Unicorn/shine. it is of very good quality....infact it has survived 3 miner falls with just the paint peeling off and few scratches due to accident. it is of bigger size hence does not look as good like the one made for Twister.....but quality is very good.Originally posted by shubhakv View Postcrash guard for honda twister

Re: The Honda CB Twister
Hi Guys!
I have Twister Disk/Self 1 year 4 months old. I am planning to change rear tyre due to monsoons.
I don't need fancy big tyres, but with good grip, with least effect on performance.
Please help me find best possible choice in current date.
Place : Mumbai
Cost : around INR 2k
Thanks!

Re: The Honda CB Twister
One of good option is CEAT SPORTS VERTIGO 100/90 X 17. Tubeless, no decrease in mileage, gives heavy look to bike(as this is quite wide and bigger than stock tyre). I changed to it about one month back and it has got good grip on sand/wet roads.Originally posted by mbsmarty View PostHi Guys!

It should cost around 1800 ( including fitting).
Other option is MRF Zapper 100/90 X 17. All features same as CEAT but heard it offers not so great grip on sand/wet roads. Cost would be same as CEAT.
