Ya Thanks a lot guys.. will try this and update soon..

    • @pinaki, yes i have checked the manual.they have mentioned about ideal RPM setting screw and has advised using tachometer to check RPM.but nothing mentioned about screw for changing air fuel ratio. In my case Honda mechanic used some kind of digital display device(its not a multimeter) to check the settings.that device had two wires with clips at each end.mechanic attached these clips that to some wire near carb, and as he turn the air/fuel screw the display readings changed.so the mechanic turned the screw until he got particular value on that digital device.thats how the tuning was done at honda service center.dont know if local mechanics use such device.

I think FZ suspension are good one as compared to Twister...
I am also a twister owner.. I feel that twister has a good set of shock absorber(at least than bajaj)...and FZ is heavier and has mono...so little difference in balance on turnings..

My twister gave around 75 initially and it as 70 in average now..

I found that If I ride my bike above 80, it gives about 60 kmpl but If i drive around 55-60, it gives 70kmpl..

I am also having problem in changing gear from 2nd to 3rd.. It slips most of the time.. My service man said that this is due to loose chain..i got it tight but same problem facing...i think the engine should be opened and checked it once...

Secondly, the run-in distance for the Twister is 500 KMs. I am sure many of us will have crossed it. Has anyone tried going between 60 and 80? How does the bike feel? Any vibrations or engine roughness?
Before 1 month, I always used to ride my Twister over 70 and lower 85.. No vibrations..no extra sounds..very very comfort...but these days..i only ride between 55-60. The reason behind this is Mileage.. 70-85 gives 60(normally).. below 60 gives more than 70...

So Conclusion.. No vibrations over 75 and below 85..I tried to reach 90 But i feared of taking off in air..hehe...

Very comfortable riding....wish u too same....

I happen to see the occasional Twister on Bangalore roads - I must have seen about 10 of them so far.

Too bad, not many Twister owners are joining this forum!!

                    • Modify cbTwister

Guys, have u done any modifications on Twister?

                      I tried some.
                      -rim paint
                      -changed horn
                      -flashing leds

                      I am looking further
                      -change rear tyre(much bigger 100/80)
                      -folding seat
                      -front brake to disc
                      -handle to 2/3 piece
                      -engine cover

                      So, I have few questions..
I have Twister which has drum brake in front as well. I want to change it to disc. What sud I do? I mean what parts sud I buy new to fix it. (Rim,front suspension, disc kits...)and how much do it cost in total to replace the drum with disc one..

And, I want to change the handle too.. Is a 2piece handle fitted in twister?

                      thanks in advance..

My bike used to jerk after reaching 80km/hr speed and not go beyond that.got this problem fixed after 3rd service.then i decided to see what max.speed i can get, when on a high way and raced steadily ,reached 90km/hr on speedometer and just when i was about to reach full throttle,a a transport bus came in front of me,i had to brake hard. i think it would have hit 95km/hr speed with full throttle on straight road.regarding vibrations, there are mild vibrations starting from 60 km onwards, which increase steadily as you increase you speed.but they are clearly noticeable in 80+onwards,depending on road conditions.

Ya,u r rite..I also havent reached more than 85kmph due to traffics.. In my bike, I felt vibrations from 75kmph... 60-70 is smoother as lower speeds..but I havent driven more than 60 since 1 month...

I got the mechanic to make my horn sound a bit louder. I already have disc brakes in the bike, but I would recomened you to get the disc brakes as well as the tires from Honda itself...BTW what colour is your bike(and the LED???How much did the LED's cost?)
I don't understand why you want folding seats? These one's are just perfect. What do you mean by engine cover? I wouldn't probably do so many mods to my bike because this is just my first bike and it's reletively a small bike. If I get a bigger bike I'll think of mods...
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

thank u 4 suggestion..I wil get that...but here in Nepal, we dont find all parts showroom garage. So I think I will have search in other places too...

my bike is fiji blue. The LEDs r also blue...I made it myself...I fitted 8 leds on both sides of rear wheel...They are flasing LED...I asked its price in shop, It costs around 200 per piece..And I made it with 50 rupees on both sides...

I don't understand why you want folding seats? These one's are just perfect.
i want to raise the driver seat. My Leg touches the ground very easily..I want to feel that I am riding a big bike..I want to raise the back seat also..It is sloppy..and I want to make it parallel to the ground..

What do you mean by engine cover? I wouldn't probably do so many mods to my bike because this is just my first bike and it's reletively a small bike. If I get a bigger bike I'll think of mods...
i want to cover the hole part of the engine...I want to make my bike look heavy . But it wil nt increase weight...I always dream of Honda CBR series.. I like those types of bike..but no any cbr is launched in Nepal...And I cannt afford it from abroad..So..I want to modify it and feel like riding a CBR series motorbike..hehe
