yea its slightly bigger...n no i dint change d rim...yup de r tubeless evn d threading is gud unlike d tradiontional mrf zapper. It costed me 1.6k in mumbai. As far as mileage drop is concerned it dropped to i think 4 to 5 kmpl.

Though I registered with XBHP a few months back but wasnt able to locate this forum then. I am a proud owner of the Honda CB Twister and bought it on the 08th July'2010. This is my very first geared bike so let me be honest I made a lot of screw-ups. The bike is excellent, great power, amazing pick-up, lightweight, great looks overall I am all ga ga about it.

I had a few questions to you all,
            1) I need to change my horn
            2) The underseat lock is a bit hard which has bent the key slightly
            3) How to get a better mileage on my bike?

The bike has run 2300+kms with 58 kms/ltr (I live in city)

I would be greatful If you guide me
yea u can change d horn..i did it too..choose a bit loud one..but dnt use truck horn or sumthin else it wil screw things up.
yea n d underseat lock sucks evn i was thinkin 2 install sum new 1.
Hmm better mileage...i think 58 is quite gud if u want more..accelerate bit less keep it til 40kmph and if u wish change d rpm setting.

This is Ronit. Bought a Honda CB Twister(Pearl Siena Red) on 24th August,2010. Became a member of xBhp today, but i used to follow it since I bought my bike. My bike has run 1300Kms and I am using Castrol Activ engine oil. Is it right to use that oil now? And is anyone using any chain lubricating oil? If yes, which brand and price?
Castrol Activ 4T (20w40) is a good oil provided you got a genuine pack . More than half in the market are fake . Check your bike's owner's manual for oil recommendation , they gave you one , no ? Read it . For chain lube , use SAE90 or EP90 grade gear oil , sparingly , with a toothbrush , after cleaning it with kerosene/diesel .

Nakhdewali !! . Seriously though , your bike is designed to run on standard unleaded petrol only, keep using that kind only . Running high octane petrols with additives like speed etc is not good for it specially in the initial miles . From your symptoms it seems to me that the petrol you just filled is adulterated or your bike has been tuned to run speed only . Find a honest petrol pump and have the carb re-tuned from Honda service centre .

Thanks Pinaki...Well,they broke the secure cap of Castrol bottle in front of my eyes! Ya,oil recommendations are given but wanted to know if any particular brand gives better value(brands like elf, motul, castrol, shell). And yes,i am using normal petrol and heard that high octane petrol like speed is not good for Honda bikes.

Cool,no issues. My chain seems to get loosened very often. My bike has run 1400Kms. Servicing guys told me it is natural after 1200Kms. Is that cool enuf? Or need to contact higher authority, say Honda head office via email.
