    • I have had 2 minor falls on my twister never had any swinging in my bike, I recently also went for a ~150 km trip on the bike maintaining a constant speed of 70-80 for most of the trip and didn't face any problems except for a bit of drop in mileage possibly due to the ghat's that I was climbing and all the gear changing taking place. I have decided to stick with the stock tyre for the time being. The only time I feel swinging in the bike is when there are strong winds.
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Honda CBF Stunner and new bajaj discover 125,pulser135 etc also uses 100/90-17 size tubeless tyres
so it seems above option is good for twister.so guys,do you see any other better option?
I am also looking to change the rear Tyre after 19k+ it has been punctured 3times and drop in tyre pressure makes me fill it every alternate day

I want to know whether switching to a new high performance spark plug do any good. I would like to spend sum bucks on getting NGK Iridium Spark Plug : Honda CB Twister [NGKIHCT], which costs Rs550 and is available with DSG. But,i want to know ,is it worth it??

                Regards,

Note:- Anyone can reply to this post, though it is addressed to Pinaki. NOM!

Ronits,in my opinion iridium spark are suitable for high performance bikes like karizma and R15. Twister being 110cc does not have much room for boost in performance with Iridium spark plugs.Instead of going for expensive spark plug, you can get performance boost by changing to new air filter and new normal spark plug.Air filter costs under 150 and new normal spark plug 90 rupees.Any way, if you decide to install Iridium spark, make sure spark plug model is compatible with Twister because wrong spark plug can easily screw up engine.check some very useful links below on spark plug.

                      Hi Sachin,
Thanks man for d info. I read the articles,hmm..hard to digest. . Ya, DSG is the official partner of xBhp. Rite? They won't screw things for our machines, I guess. As per their site, their is a NGK Iridium IX spark plug available for CB Twister. Here is the link...

NGK Iridium Spark Plug : Honda CB Twister - 550.00Rs

Regarding facts about changing air filter and normal/conventional spark plug is very right!

Ronits, i just did some research on Iridium spark plug for Twister.
There is one NGK Iridium spark plug model suitable for Twister. But its not the one you mentioned on DSG.Here is what i found out.
The spark plug model as given on User manual of Twister is CPR7EA-9
now if you do a search using this CPR7EA-9 model on NGK part finder then you will find that this same spark plug is used in Shine,Stunner, and Activa.
Now new Activa has same 110 cc engine as Twister which means spark plug for Activa must be same for twister as well.We can find this from Activa forum on Xbhp. Now if you do a spark plug search for new Activa on NKG website then you will find three compatible spark plug models as follows.
                            1]CPR7EA-9
                            2]CPR7EAGP-9
                            3]CPR7EAIX-9
The first one is the conventional spark plug( presently used in Twister)
The second one is G power spark plug.(i dont know much about this).
The Third one is Iridium spark plug. (the one you are looking for)
To further check the compatibility first 6 letters of above three spark plugs are same which means their working parameters are same.only difference is letter GP(stands for G power) and IX(stands for Iridium). This is conformed from following link.

so my conclusion is that NGK Iridium spark plug model number CPR7EAIX-9 is suitable for Twister.
Ronits, why not send a mail to NGK to conform this?it will be usefull for all of us here.Quite excited to know about their G power spark plugs as well, which according to NGK is designed for better mileage then the conventional one used in Twister.so i would like to experiment this G power spark plug some day.

                            • @ Ronits - sorry wasn't here for some days , but I see you got the right answer . Sachin'jee is absolutely correct in his deduction , bravo . NGK plugs only alter the suffix to GP & IX for their G-Power and Iridium plugs . You need only the matching first numbers and last number .
I have no experience actually whether an G-power or Iridium would work out better on the twister , it varies for engine to engine and rider to rider, but it certainly won't be worse , so you can try it ... for the money though . Personally I am using the platinum ones now ( g-power ) and found them to more durable .

                              • Hi pinaki, did you noticed any difference using G power spark plug over conventional plug and how much is the price difference compared to conventional ones?
personally few days back I replaced spark plug myself with new one(just wanted to learn changing spark plugs) of conventional type, and i could immediately notice much smoother idling in cold condition and engine always starts with single kick.
