buddy,The passion Engine is actually designed and developed made by Honda.Hero is just their partner having good dealership network. And big news is that Hero and Honda have called off their partnership.so now you will not see any new bikes with hero honda label, but only see hero cycles on road.ALL technology & knowledge is with Honda and not Hero group.Hero group only makes fancy and colorful new stickers which you see on passion. so go for twister, its a generation ahead in all aspects compared to passion.Originally posted by dreamankur View PostYeah, with lots of positive feedback i think by next week i will be a twister owner as well.... will keep you guys updated and if i will buy twister than i will put the snapshots of my bike...
The only and main confusion i was having was reliability over a long run coz passion is something which we are seeing already reliable over a long run and twister being new bike cant say anything about long run at least not at this moment but i guess i will take my chance and go for twister....

Well framed arguments...

HELLSFURY: How does your wife find the suspension as a pillion rider? One of the twister reviews (google frugal flyers) commended the Twister for outstanding pillion comfort.
To other Twister owners: I have had no oil leaking from rear shocks. My problem is that the gears keep slipping after I change them - this after using full clutch per the service technician's recco. Otherwise, the bike is good. At 50, there are no vibes, I almost fell asleep once!!
Has anyone else faced problems with the gearbox?
Looks like the Twister has not become popular after all.
Hey,me too...gears keep slipping...the bike comes to a halt sometimes with a chain slipping sound,n i need to shift the gear once again. Any help?

Ronit'jee , I think you haven't cleaned/lubricated/adjusted your drive chain yetOriginally posted by Ronits View PostHey,me too...gears keep slipping...the bike comes to a halt sometimes with a chain slipping sound,n i need to shift the gear once again. Any help?
. Do that well , and adjust the chain-slack to proper tension , adjust clutch with little bit of free play and see your gear shifts become butter smooooth .

Cool...Use the plain petrol. Use of high octane speed/power not recommended, will cause more engine knocking! Brand as such will not make much difference, but make sure u get ur tank filled from a good, reputed petrol station/pump,can be of any brand. I prefer HP though.Originally posted by dreamankur View PostWell, finally on saturday i will get my honda twister.
I just want to know with all experienced twister rider that is ther any specific type of petrol (plain, speed, power) and specfic brand (HP, Indian oil, Bharat PPetroleaum and so on), i have to use for good milege and engine health..??

I once tried using high octane once, just to see if there is any difference.I felt that bike was pulling better and more smoothly then before. But the mileage went down by around 4km.also when i listen carefully, the exhaust note felt little bit different i.e quitter note. i have switched back to regular fuel. This is just my personnel experience.any one having any other experience can share here.Originally posted by dreamankur View PostWell, finally on saturday i will get my honda twister.

The new spark plug came in a box with "Honda genuine part" written on the box,but on the spark there is NGK written on it.I have the old spark with me & there is NGK written on it.Its costing 90 bucks so it may not be Iridium bocz Iridium's usually cost more.I had some problem with suction pipe and service guy changed the spark, thinking its faulty and charged me for same. The old spark is in pretty good condition and has done just 2000km.I have kept old spark in my toolbox just in case it is required in emergency.Originally posted by Ronits View PostDude, how many Kms did ur ride make that u replaced ur spark plug? And which one in particular,I mean NGK Iridium or any other?
