The first few days of experience were all good but the battery started giving problems jus after 10 days. first my horn went bad, then my indicators were continuously blinking n the worst part the bike din start up ... I was very upset n furious so i had to push start he bike as the newer models do not have a kick lever..... finally i managed to reach the service station n told them abt my problem they told me the connections were all fine n had to charge the battery n they did so n gave me my bike. After like 4 days i again had the same problem...... this time i made sure i wanted a new battery so told i told them this's the 2nd time i was there wit the same problem so they finally replaced the faulty battery wit a new one. so this kinda faults r really bringing a bad name to the company..........
I own a Stunner too which I bought 3 months ago. I have completed abt 2600 Kms till now and haven't had any problems whatsoever.

The bike's smoothness increases day by day. Gear shift is the best part. I have ridden many bikes over the last 6-7 years and have never seen any bike with as smooth gear shift as the Stunner. Maybe all Honda bikes have this attribute these days.

Stunner's efficiency is good too. I am getting a mileage of about 58 Kmpl in Mumbai city riding conditions which is good!
Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

      • Another stunner owner

I'm here, another stunner owner from past 9 months, 10750km done till date. Only one mod I'll recommend FRONT SPROCKET CHANGE TO 15 SIZE. you can feel the decrease at initial (more with pillion) but works great, feels like riding a 150cc atleast to me.
Speed gain is 3-5kmph at usual rpm's, exhaust note will also change to a beaty one. I'm in love with my bike again. Now there's no vibs under city limits. Tell me one thing, do stunner have cv carburator? Pardon if wrongly spelt.

Yes Stunner has CV-Carburettor (Constant Velocity Carburettor).
It shares the same carb with Shine.
          Cheers

            • Top speed achieved by me is 95kmph on speedo (with 160kg pay load) @ 9500rpm(redline is 10000rpm). 0-60 is stated 5.3 sec didn't checked but its comparable to 150cc.

What is the stock sprocket teeth count for the front sprocket?

Where can I get the 15 teeth sprocket in Mumbai?

How much did the sprocket cost and how much did it cost you to get it replaced by a mechanic?

                    • MRP for 15teeth sprocket was Rs75.
Replacement was a small job, it was done under 15mins. I guess mechanic will charge you in between 10-20 rupees.
And i'm a DIY guy so i did that.
P.M. me for DIY guide for sprocket replacement.

If the procedure is simple enough, I don't mind doing it myself..

Can you please post the steps here itself for everyone's benefit? This way any other Stunner owner who might want to do it can do it himself...

                          • STEPS FOR REPLACEMENT OF FRONT SPROCKET:
                            1. remove the fiber cover of front sprocket (or whatever the name is). Which is behind the gear shifted. For this you 've to remove the gear shifter.
                            2. Loosen the chain.
                            3. Remove the chain over from the front sprocket.
                            4. Now replace the sproket.
                            5. Put the chain onto the sprocket.
                            6. Tighten the chain.
                            7. Put back the front sprocket cover.
                            8. Fit the gear shifter back.
                            NOW GO FOR A RIDE......
AND FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR BIKE AGAIN......
For performing these jobs you've to use respective wrench......
