The warranty may be compromised by performing this mod but this won't create any problems with the bike. Also, the fuel efficiency will not be affected adversely. I have done this mod to my Stunner and am quite happy with it.

If you want to have good pickup, I suggest you stick to the stock sprocket. If you want to reduce the vibrations around the 60Kmph mark and increase the top end a little, go for the Unicorn's front sprocket which costs only Rs 75. The Unicorn's front sprocket has 15 teeth whereas the Stunner's stock sprocket has 14. It's a simple mod and you can go for it as soon as you get your bike.Originally posted by The_Lone_Rider View Post

As every Stunner owner says, the bike is super smooth. Only some miner issues till date. Pretty good for long drives. Excellent mileage. Decent Handling.
Way better than my previous ride i.e. Bajaj Discover 125.Dream come True!!!! R15 V 1.0
2011 - Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS (Sold)
2009- 2011 - Honda CBF Stunner (Sold)

The Stunner is a good commuter bike without a doubt. It's smooth, handles well, has decent fuel efficiency (around 55-60 Kmpl) and looks good.
Performance may not be best in class but it's good nevertheless. It's a good buy.Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Completed 1.7 years on my Stunner!!!
Awesome for mileage around 55-60 kmpl, no vibrations after 2 or 3 services, only problem i had suffered a lot is with the engine problem, while driving on 4th or 5th gear, i feel as if there is no petrol or someone stopping me from backside
.. inshort no pickup at 4th and 5th gear as if engine is not free!!!
Even the accelerator has gone little hard to accelerate, i have to put a lot of pressure for accelerating
Now someone suggest me some solution for the above problem..
And i am planning to put pulsar 220 mirrors on the visor, and going to remove the bracket behind my seat(above tail light) and place a pulsar 200 ka bracket ... hope that it fits without any cuttings or alterations, so please advice me whether its good or an bad idea!!!
Thanks a lot!!!

It seems like you are running on a lean Air-Fuel mixture. Visit some good mechanic or authorized service center and ask them to tune your carb for optimum AF ratio. That should solve your problem of low acceleration in 4th and 5th gears and acceleration in general. Change your engine oil with new one (stick to the grade 20W40). Motul has 20W40 grade oil which works really good for me. You can try that. Get the air filter cleaned / changed if required.Originally posted by npk21 View PostCompleted 1.7 years on my Stunner!!!

As far as the mirrors and grab rails are concerned, you can get them changed if you like...it won't have any positive or negative effect on the bike as such.Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

ok will do it, what about vibrations of visor if i install a pulsar 220 mirror on it? and will those grabrails fit on my bike wihout any cuttings or alterations??

Well, the Stunner's front visor vibrates I know...but I think if you somehow install those P220 mirrors, the vibrations might reduce a bit since there would be greater load on the visor. No one can tell for sure though unless you try it out.Originally posted by npk21 View Post...................................

As far as the grab rails are concerned, I think the P200 grab rails are split (correct me if I'm wrong) so fitting them on the Stunner sounds possible in theory but you will again have to try it out as the size of the screws holding the grab rails in position and the Stunner may not match. I have not come across any Stunner owners who has performed such mods so you may be the first one. Try it and let us know how it goes.Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Okay...my 8 month old Stunner's battery has died out completely! The HASS people are going to replace it as it is under warranty but I'm stumped at the quality of battery Honda is providing for a bike which doesn't have a kick starter.
I had to push the bike in 2nd gear to start it (that's the only way to start it, right?)
I'm very disappointed by this and would probably be selling off the bike after the battery has been replaced.
No more bikes for me which do not have a kick lever. That means all the R15s, Dazzlers, Stunners, Hunks etc etc are a strict NO NO !Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Selling My Bike
Hey all..
I want to sell my 8 month old Stunner CBF full black color (bought on 17th Oct 2010). It has clocked 5500 Kms on Odo and is in a very good condition. Maintained at regular intervals. Engine oil has been changed at each service. Engine has been run in properly.
There are no scratches on the bike and a simple wash makes it shine like new.
I bought it for 62k on road in Mumbai. Doesn't have disk brakes.
What price should I expect to get?
Options:
1. Above 55k
2. Between 50k - 55k
3. Between 45k - 50k
4. Below 45k
Please advise.Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Resale Value
Dude even i owned the Honda Stunner 2009 model with ES and Disk Brakes!
I sold her to buy new cbz 2011 model.
mine was rarely used bike just 4500 kms on the odo in more than 1.5 years.
my resale experience was not good with Honda Bikes.
My Top end very very less used Honda Stunner was rated for merely 30k by the used Bike Agents but some how i managed to sell her for 35k to the individual Custumer.
By the way..why are you selling her?
after driving 150cc CBZ i hardly feel any difference in City Drives bus yes on Highway high speed drives it matters!
So take your decision-WHy sell the 5500 kms done bike if you are satified with it!
my personel Opinions as i myswlf sold my bike just to test my Hands on Humble CBZ ( first love aka 1999)..............................................
Hero Honda CBZ X-Treme....2011
