Check out the handlebar mount of Honda Unicorn. At the bottom of the handlebar, where it is bolted on, you can see and feel some rubber washers. They are placed between the metal contacts so that the rubber dampens the vibrations coming into the handlebar.

I don't understand why Honda doesn't provide something that simple in every model if its that much helpful in reducing the vibes, especially when their 125cc models earned a bad reputation for having intrusive vibrations

    • Hello guys,

I need some Info, I bought 2nd hand disc set up from Junk yard, & the set up what I have got it something like this , the fork leg, caliper, disc, etc are from classic pulsar & the Lever, master cylinder is from Stunner/ Shine ( I feel both are same), I went for this since the master cylinder was in working condition.

Now the trouble is that lever play is hard & I feel it has something to do with Minor Kit in the master cylinder, Brake feels jittery & hard to press, wanted to know what is the price of minor kit for the stunner/ Shine version of disc brake.

      Please let me know..

They've made something that was handsome into something confusing. That sticker job is close to impulse. Trying to get a family look, I guess!

And ah!! the console...Stunner owners would be turning green looking at that

FI is slightly smoother than carb one its also got slighitly higher top speed but its too costly for 125 cc.
But both versions are vibey in nature. Plastic & fiber parts are cheap.
Carb version is very short geared.
Otherwise its a good bike, low maintenance, ok mileage, handels like charm, peppy acceleration
and another drawback was poor paint quality; i mean about durability not the gloss.

                    • The paint quality of the bike is good but the fit & finish is not that good. I mean after some months you can observe some panel gaps. Even in the new bike you might get those. Very short geared. Fi is not short geared but is quite over-priced. Carb is true value for money. Mileage is not that good from my experience. Fi will give 2-3kmpl more.
@Honda_CBF, my idle speed increases by around 400-500RPM after running 8kms or so. Is that normal?
                      Whats there in a signature?

                        totally agree with that
paint quality is not that good...on some bikes they appear to be fine

yes totally normal. Idle speed increases after warm up. Btw, it should not exceed the recommended zone i.e. 1400 rpm +/- 100rpm.
