Also I am getting 40kmph in city sane riding which is less for this bike and I feel engine to be stressed at higher rpm (also because of too short gearing) so I would probably change it. Can you pls roughly give me some rough cost estimate. I dont have idea about it.
No need to change rear if changing front. Also rear sprocket of cbf comes with a ring kinda thing making it look good
unicorn's front sprocket (15 teeth) was 75Rs around two yrs back.
Using a 15T sprocket you'll be doing 40kmph at 3.5k rpm and 70kmph at ~6150 rpm which was very beneficial to me reason being I also tour on my bike.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

OEM filter will fit best. But it seems like you're asking about aftermarket performance filters. If its the latter one, then there are different sizes & models available from different makers and a dealer can tell you about them.

          • Completed ~4700 kms on the odo and it still makes me smile every time I look at it.

I will post a proper review once I complete the 4th free service / oil change.

              • Hey Pavan,

Which petrol pump do you usually use in Thane? I stay in Thane too and I prefer the IndianOil pump near Cinewonder / Manpada. Good quality fuel.

                • I usually avoid fuelling my bike in Thane..I use the andheri one..enroute my office..

                  But,when needed,

                  I prefer
                  1) Teen petrol pump(The bigger one, avoid the smaller one)
                  2) Babu Bhai Petrol Pump near castle mill, ahead of makhmali Talav
                  3)Indian oil ahead of cinewonder

Avoid the Teen Hath Naka Pump..

                        • Yep..

Pickup is damn gud..infact best part of Stunner is pickup..TOP speed is 105-110 widout vibration..Above that no idea..To increase pickup, u can also change chain sprocket to a bigger size..but its not required..original one has gud pickup..

                            • Guys guys, wait up! There are few misunderstanding(s)
top speed is 100kmph. (at 10k rpm; redline)
110kmph comes up at 11k rpm where revlimiter kicks in. Riding at such high rpms can cause severe engine damages (have also got few pics of damaged engine parts)
another thing is, stunner have vibrations its not smooth like a Honda should be, mild vibrations are there till 3k rpm; from 3k rpm to 4.5k rpm, no vibs at all (Honda ) ; from 4.5k rpm mild vibrations again creep in and keeps increasing till 5.5k rpm. From 6k rpm to 10k rpm mild vibration prevails. This is about carb'ed stunner. FI one is smoother in lower revs. Rpms between 5k to 5.5k is full of vibration and from 6k rpm there's light vibration.
Top speed of FI stunner is ~105kmph at 10k rpm.

yes, it's able to pull. Have done lots of riding with around 160-170kg. Just do a thorough test ride before buying..
