ac (alternating current) requires the throttle to be raised to get the full power of the lamp . if u loose the throttle the headlight dims and its opposite in DC(direct current) you get full power regardless of the throttle.

i too had the same problem but went for dazzler because of my height. i am a six footer.p135 is value for money .if u want the ride quality u can go for dazzler . i hope honda will come up with flying colours . i think all problems will get sorted after 3 services as a senior mechanic said me.

          • more than all of this fate is there. out of 100 bikes 5 will be a black mark regardless of the brand. so its upon ur fate. while servicing my bike asked two other dazzler owners and they said excellent bike with no problems.

if u are less than 5.10 height u can go for p135 .my brother owns one 4 months old .no problems till .
if u need a real ride quality u should go for dazzler . u cant go for a long drive in p135 as i once went for 70kms ride i had pain in my shoulder and ankles.dazzler is too good for riding .excellent riding posture suitable for long drive.
You got to be kidding.. seriously.. I have covered 320 kms in one day on my P135 and don't have any problems with that. It's all about how you sit on the bike..

ahem, I have done 700 KMs in 10 hrs and 12 hrs several times on my R15. Did the Leh trip too in snow fall and river bed and loose stones. It didn't hurt a bit. Can I call it a comfortable tourer?

The seating posiion is very comfy on the Dazzler. The only thing I liked on it apart from the engine. Yeah, the headlight too. Everything else is utter pathetic for a Honda.

i frequently used to have this problem with my unicorn.the bike fails to start if i keep it parked for more than 30 min.whenever it happens i had to kick the kick lever 5-6 times with the ignition and the fuel knob off, then switch on the ignition, fuel knob to on and kick the bike again, the bike will come alive. i guess its due to overflowing of petrol inside the carb.

my solution was simple.whenever i had to park the bike i turn the fuel knob to off position.initially it takes some time to get used to it but you will soon get used to it.

Hey, I am from Mumbai and I never got the saree gurad with the bike... Was it a part of std accessories as in CB Unicorn ?The only two accessories that one has to buy for a Unicorn are no. plate and leg guard, saree guard comes std with the bike.. However for Dazzler, the showroom claims that its not a part of std fitment as its a sporty bike and if needed, one has to purchase the same ?

                            • Dazzler Console at night

I am a newbie to this site...

I had ordered for a Honda Unicorn Dazzler (BLACK) from Thrissur,Kerala showroom more than 2 months back. The actual waiting period was 4 months....I thought these 4 months will pass by very soon..But not so....

Yesterday I got a call from the showroom saying that the bike is ready to be delivered within 2 weeks...So the actual waiting period turned out to be 2 months and 18 days....I am so thrilled with this news!!

I dont know if it wil help others! This is my story of before ordering/booking black Unicorn Dazzler..This might be only applicable to Kerala!

One day I call the Thrissur showroom to enquire the delay in delivery of Dazzler black..They said just 8 months very simply. They said the bike is in great demand and the supply is very less...So I was going through the Honda site and thought of putting a complaint in their site saying about thedelay in delivery and threatened to go for other bikes..So in 2 days one rep calls me and says that the bike can be delivered within 4 months...Silver and Golden color in 3 months.....I said ok and went to the showroom and made the guy talk to the manager and everything was set...

The rest u guys know..In the mean time I was calling the rep(In bangalore) asking to deliver the bike before the 3 months..I kept on continuing this...His point was if they delivered the bike within 3 months, i will go and tell others about this and the people already waiting will create problems..So he said he cannot deliver before that.....Also I called up the honda showroom and was asking to prepone the delivery..They also said the same fundas..I even said that I am going to cancel the booking..I think that might have worked for me..Never settle down for the delay that they set..You are the customer and u are paying the money..So u have the full right to demand for better service..ONe idea also might be to call the Delhi/Bangalore head office and report the delay in delivery...

Can anyone put photos of the Dazzler console at night?

It's upto you to call it a comfortable tourer or not.. but P135 & Dazzler are not poles apart with their upright seating posture. And in this case.. the guy says shoulder & ankle pain, which is mainly due to how you sit on bike.. it's not back pain this guy is talking about, which might be directly linked to seating posture.
