    Hi,

I had gone off road on my dazzler that too when it was just 7 days old. Because I had no choice!

Its handles decent enough, even with a pillion as was in my case. There is more than enough pull for going uphill. However the loose stone and gravels often fly up and hit the engine guard. Also since i had fitted the engine guard, the effective ground clearance had decreased and even more because of the pillion so the guard also crashed a couple of times when the front wheel dropped down from a rock/into a ditch.

Also when I had gone, it was Jan, so the trail was gravely and dry, no mud. Thats why I got decent grip. But am sure with these zappers, the bike will slip and skid like crazy in mud during monsoons.

This bike can handle all you throw at it. But if you keep abusing it will break!

My advice: THIS BIKE IS NOT FOR REGULAR OFFROADING! Buy an Impulse if you want to do that!

Earlier I was thinking for Deluxe model (White-Red) but after having feedback from friends about it needing more maintenance and other little problems, I thought to go for a non-Deluxe model.

      The color options are:
      1. Red
      2. Black
      3. Golden

My confusion lies between deciding whether to take Red color or Black color? Could you guys share your bike color and what made you choose that color?

My opinion is to go for black else red (Mine is black). I found red quite good too but a little catchy.

      • Is there anyway we can adjust the beam of the headlight.
You start the game with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience... The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.

          Thanks for the reply.

This off-roading will be annual affair. Mainly in monsoons. Till now I had been using my bros pulsar tht too slip and skids a lot. I need overall a sturdy bike.

Other time the bike will mostly be used for touring and city riding. My other bike is avenger but tht cant go off road.

Yes I have seen Impulse but it seems pretty tall for me since my height is 5'1.
Nevertheless I will try to take a test ride of Impulse.

I guess you meant head light level then, there is a small screw right below the head light assembly. Loosen the screw, adjust the level (move up or down - full headlight is hinged on an end) and tight the screw. Done!

            • ^^ by this way headlight beam can be adjusted in vertical direction. Is there any way to adjust the beam in horizontal direction? I have noticed that my bikes beam spreads more towards the left side of the road, I want to adjust it towards right side. What can be done?

Thanks for confirming. I tried looking for the screw but was unable to find it. Nevertheless, will try it again.

Off-road performance depends on tyres. The tyres on current Dazzler are very bad for off-roading. The front tyre skids a lot in gravel, sand, and mud. Try fitting off-road tyres such as Michelin M45 or Sirac (Sadly can't be fitted on Dazzler's 17 inch rims) and instantly it becomes an off-roader.

                    • I tried searching but could not find information about what is ideal speed & RPM for each gear, meaning how to know its time to gear up or gear down from current gear?

This could be general question, but thought to ask here since I own Red Dazzler now.

Sure. Most comfortable straight position. . .

Bikes dont come with any seat height adjustment settings.Still you can lower the saddle height by through seat cutting i.e.removing a layer of foam.Any seat cover, seat fabrication shop do this work.
