After reading all the tip logs on the tourer section, I didn't notice a dazzler making it up there yet. So if you do it, you could very well be the first. If you intend to go there, you'll have to change the tires of the bike to ensure it has enough grip on that terrain. Other than that, I see no reason why you can't go there on a Dazzler.Originally posted by Wildnerd View PostIn today's world, quotes don't matter. Quotas do!

Don't know about Marsimik La, but the Dazzler has gone to K-top for sure. And I don't see anything that stops the Dazzler to go to M-top.Originally posted by Wildnerd View PostGuys, Please could somebody answer the above question please. In fact any experience on that terrain would help me a lot.
Thanks.

Trip meter button
Hi guys, I have lost the trip meter buttons on my Dazzler dashboard (small rubber buttons to set the odometer and time). The service center guys don't seem to have them, they say that I would have to buy the whole dashboard. I was wondering if any of you have recently changed your dashboard and could kindly share the buttons with me. Would wait for your replies with anticipation.

Sreejith from Palakkad did it with us on his Dazzler but not without issues. Infact no bike would do it with-out issues even bullet because of weight.
But honestly to me both the bikes have their advantages .
And I for one think its not your bike but YOU who scale heights . Bike is just an instrument . Just see in Xbhp, you will see Splendors touring to Leh and >1000ccs nevr crossing city limits.

Honda unicorn dazzler complaints
Hello folks,
I purchased a Honda Dazzler three weeks back from Peeyem honda, Kannur. Initial idle rpm was set by dealer to 1400 rpm. At choke start in the morning, the rpm reading will be 1400. After i ride a few km's and bring the bike to neutral, engine idle rpm would be increased to value between 2100 and 2200 and the engine will raise accordingly. If i leave the bike to cool for half an hour and start it again, the rpm value will be back to normal to 1400. I contacted peeyem honda, kannur from whom i purchased the bike and they told that it is so with dazzler and i dont need to bother about it. I know that they are just misguiding me. Kindly give me the solution to this. I want to take your sujjestions to them and make them know that there are people who have knowledge about dazzler. Please guide me dear's

I had the exact same problem initially.
The thing is that the dealers set the idle RPM when the engine is cold. So when the engine warms up the RPM shoots up as well.
Just follow the instructions given in your user manual to reset the idle RPM. But this time make sure that your bike's engine has totally warmed up (20 min stop and go riding in city traffic / 10 min of 70-90kmph on higway). When the engine is hot and idle RPM has increased to 2200 then decrease it to 1400 (user manual recommended) by turning the idle adjustment screw appropriately.
After this when you cold start your bike in the morning using choke, the RPM will only be around 1100 (after closing choke) but as the engine warms up, the RPM will increase and settle at 1400RPM as it should.---

@nittinswaminathan
Set the RPM to ~1400 after riding the bike for atleast 5kms and it'll be okay. But when starting a cold engine rpm will start from around 1k and will reach 1.4 after few kms riding.Down to Gehenna or up to the Throne, He travels the fastest who travels alone...

Very much normal.Originally posted by amitmalve View Post@ all
Sometimes when I switch off the engine I get a 'KHAT' sound. Is it normal? Has anyone experienced this?

Hello All,
PREFACE:
I've stepped into riding just 6 months back, owning second hand Passion Plus, as my new office is 20Kms away from my home. 100CC does not suit my build, preferences and needs, but for learning it was good option.
3 months back I decided to buy new bike and started my research from information on various blogs. Just two weeks back found xbhp forum (very glad to join, was eagerly waiting for account approval to write an essay
) and have got so much help in making decision for buying new bike by reading ownership threads.
After research across all major brands in 150CC segment, have short listed Dazzler & CBZ Xtreme as finalist. Though I am inclined towards Dazzler, am still waiting for Auto Expo if it can affect the list / decision making.
Have one query though, I am not sure if this is right thread, but since it was related to Dazzler I thought to post in ownership thread rather than creating new one. Mods, If my post is not appropriate, please guide me make it one.
QUERY:
Dazzler Deluxe comes with 2 new dual colors. I am kind of liking the White-Red combination but skeptical whether it will be as white as it would be at time of delivery, even after 2 - 3 years? I know white tends to get dirty and may fade, but if it could change to cream after some time, then that's the point of worry! Polishing (within minimal budget) once or twice in a year should not be a problem, however only if its effective enough to keep it shining white!
My color preference is:
1. White-Red
1.5 Black-Grey? Will it look good at all?
2. Silver
3. Black
Thought to seek some guidance in advance from experts before Auto Expo to keep my check list ready for making quick & right decision.
Got more queries, will post once I reach home, but couldn't stop myself from finger mingling as soon as I got mail regarding account approval.
Phew!!

HI
Hello PPL,
I finally upgraded from Shine to Unidazzler.Got it today, black one. Initial thoughts
1. The pick up and the front suspension, its better
2. Handle, rear break, gear shift are a little tight.Probaly will take time for me to settle.
3. I asked the showroom guy to set the RPM to 1k, but he set it to ~1500. I found that the bike stopped in the middle at the speed breakers/signals at least thrice in a 20km trip.
I am disappointed with the back disc break, it is taking much time to get in to effect than my shines drum break. The showroom guy said he can not fix it as it comes from the company, they can not do anything.
Had a little argument with the showroom guys, due to patching work they are doing for the new bike. I received mine with little scratches on the tank. There was huge scratch on the silver silencer cover and they tried to cover it, which lead it to be more ugly. They finally replaced it . Also the plastic cover on the dashboard was broken, they replaced it upon my invention of that crack. The seat cover was not of good quality. Upon getting it out, I found that the handle was a little bent, not sure of this though.
Really pathetic service from JSP honda, kukatpally. I booked it about 5 days back and got a call on same day saying that my bike is ready. When I went there today, they started fitting the parts/applying teflon today in front of me. Went in at 10 and got out at 2pm. I am not sure when they will change and will keep up to the name of HONDA.
The only reason I went for dazzler is because of HONDA, nothing else.
