hey u guys. I ride the CB twister. Thinking of an upgrade. I want a touring bike. Is the dazzler comfortable to ride for two to three hours without a break? How does it perform at higher speeds(three-digits)? Can i ride at three-digit speeds for long?Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.
Rides : Honda CB Twister(Feb 2011 - Present) | TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS(Sept 2012 - May 2016) | Honda CBR250R C-ABS Repsol(March 2017 - Present)
Break-in tension? Read this.

help me pls
I test drive the dazzler two days back,it is a good bike.but it does not have kick start is a problem for me.During rainy season if bike is covered, will it harm electric start?
I also checked pulsar 135 LS this bike has almost same power 13.5 HP at 135 cc whereas dazzler has 14HP 150 cc.
The test mileage of dazzler is max 60kmpl whearas pulsar 135 gives user review based more than 60+ kmpl.
On road price is 10000 Rs less than dazzler and spares of dazzlers are not easily available at showrooms and outside market.
Pulasar 135 spares are easily available. No kick start in dazzler ,p135 has kick also.
I am very much confuse with it pls post some views on it.

I returned a week back from riding 20 days in the ladakh region with 80+ KM on a day. No backache yetOriginally posted by madhav766 View Posthey u guys. I ride the CB twister. Thinking of an upgrade. The highest it did was 123kmph but it takes quite a while to reach there. Yes, I have ridden at 105-110kmph for few hours straight.

P135 is targeted towards people who like a sporty stance whereas whereas the Dazzler, considering its seating position, is more likely targeted towards to people with daily use but with bit more style.Originally posted by aditya05I also checked pulsar 135 LS this bike has almost same power 13.5 HP at 135 cc whereas dazzler has 14HP 150 cc.

Both are good in their own sense, ride both and choose yourself, no one can tell you whats best for you but you.
The mileage I get is about 50-55kmplPeace \m/

Yes, dazzler is comfortable for non stop long duration riding. I have done many long distance rides at three digit speeds with no problems whatsoever. The highest speed dazzler can do is 134kmph (speedo indicated & stock condition), depending on road(slope) & wind conditions.Originally posted by madhav766 View Posthey u guys. I ride the CB twister. Hi Varun,
Not sure on the rust.
But on the breaks i too had the same problem after the service later spoke to the SVC guy they said water would have gone in to the disk pad it might take 4-5 days to dry and later it should be fine.
Hope this helps....

Guys,
I finsihed my 4th and final free service today.
Is it a wise decision to continue with the SVC for furture Paid services or give to the any other good mechanic nearby.
SVC guys said the warranty would void if the 4paid service is not done at the honda SVC is that true.
Please advise.
Note the SVC is not that great and the paid service would cost RS 980+

This can not be true considering the current and latest situation atleast here in Pune. Unicorn Dazzler is coming in lots and is readily available across the showrooms in city and its suburban area (though currently waiting is there for Silver and Red colours and Black was out of stock at Pashankar Auto during last month but not anymore). Twister and Dazzler are the only two Honda vehicles available without waiting period as far as I know (about Pune area only). I know this much and say it confidently as I have purchased my Dazzy just few days back!Originally posted by aditya05 View PostThere is a news across net that dazzzler production is stoped and new dazzler with kick start will be launched in 2012.Is it true?
I want to purchase this bike,if it is true I will wait.

Got fixed my starting trouble....
Hai guys, my bike was giving a tick sound while starting and had to be thumbed more than once to get it started (I've mentioned it before). I went to the sevice centre for a check and they informed me it was a problem with the relay. And the good news is they changed it under warranty on the spot
. So anyone got a similar issue just get to your nearest honda service center and hopefully you will get it rectified.
Any guys know where I could get a "Honda Shop Manual for Dazzler"?

Just had first servicing done on my Dazzler! It was 530km on Odo when I gave it for servicing at My Wings Honda in Pune. Fortunately, the experience dealing with ASC was very good! They changed the engine oil along with the rectification of few problems I brought to notice like front disk brake noise (its still there but very small now).
Bike is lot smoother now, smoother than ever I have rode..
Pick-up is improved and overall, bike and engine is now more responsive to throttle. I will still be following run-in period advices till atleast 1500km and will post detailed review after that.
At this moment, I should not be calculating mileage (as it may return less figures in initial use) but still for 1st 490kms, I got astonishing 58kmpl! (much than what I expected
). 600 bucks of petrol i filled after purchasing returned me that much on odo and i filled back when small amount of fuel was still there in tank. I will be happy if it give me atleast 50kmpl in normal mixed riding condition after run-in period.

Well its 770km on odo and you may find it weird but I can notice that gear ratios are changing.. I have to shift gears less frequently now. They are becoming wider. I cant check about upper limits as its still in run in period but vibrations between 4.5-5k RPM are disappearing and I can drag vehicle in low RPM very smoothly which was not possible early. In short, I can manage with less gear changes in traffic than earlier. I dont know how this is happening but whatever change taking place is making my dazzler more comfortable to ride. I haven't given it to any mechanic or SVC except for first servicing and even after first service, I couldnt notice this change. It is noticeable since last 100km or so.

Spares scarcity
Can anybody ship me a Dazzler's air filter? I tried all service centers here in calicut, none have any spares of Dazzler. I managed to source Spark plug from a friend in Bangalore, but Air filter is not in stock even in Bangalore. If anyone can please PM me.

CDI Blown
I think my CDI unit is shot.
While on my way to work the bike stuttered and came to an eventual halt.
Called my mechanic who checked for the presence of a current to the spark plug which was absent. He checked all fuses and wiring and it was all ok.
He is yet to pass the final verdict but it is leaning towards a blown CDI.
Quite shocking how this might happen within 15000 KMS for a Honda bike.
Given how much I look after her, I'm very disappointed
Apart from regular servicing, I give it time in the morning to warm up, maintain low RPM, and you name it.
I think it might set me back at least 2000.
I have already spent around 400 on a replacement cone-set just 3 months ago.
Cant help but think I should have gone with TVS or Bajaj, at least their parts are cheaper
Anyone else had a similar issue?Last edited by Pyrotechnics; 10-20-2011, 01:59 AM.
