Honda Unicorn Dazzler

    is anyone here from Vadodara/Baroda who can guide me to a competitive automobile shop where I can fit in suitable petrol lock for my dazzler... I have had two occurrences of petrol theft and am worried about this.. I've visited many shops but they keep telling me that the petrol tank bolt size of Dazzler is 24 whereas other bikes have size of 22 only and due to this incompatibility I can't get any other petrol lock to fit in... I've shot off an email to Honda as well but no reply so far

    Help would be greatly appreciated..

              No point in emailing the Honda folks. 'Cause no manufacturer in India has even thought about providing a petrol lock as far as I've seen, leave alone manufacturing one. That always amazes me. I mean, how could they not think of it? It would be the most important spec/feature in India. You'll have to search in the after-market products

                I went to the nearby ASC ().. at first they didn't understand what I was inquiring about and then turned me down saying that they dont manufacture petrol locks.. however, i have gone through this thread and came to know that couple of guys faced similar difficulty about incompatible bolt sized and yet were able to fit the lock in their Dazzlers (link here).. they got it done in Pune...

                Taking cue from those guys' success, I tried reasoning out with mechanics here but they're adamant that petrol lock can't be fitted in Dazzler...

                    Hi guys.. Im having issues with my dazzy..

                    i feel some resistance from my handlebars, its moving itself to the center and i feel it more on very small turns, i think bearing are good as i dont feel any shake when i move it back and forth

                    another one is, my bulb is dimming down when my rpm reached 3k and up.. Its doesnt blow up any longer and will stay dim..bateery is good as i can still start the bike

                      Bike is now fixed..i had a chance to visit my mechanic earlier.

                      the bulb issue was caused by my regulators ports got corroded with dirt.. Cleaned it and now ok.

                      handlebar issue was fixed by loosening the thread a bit..

                        Guys finally i sold my Dazzler. I had enough of it.
                        The resale value is terrible. I posted my ad online on a couple of sites and i hardly received 5 calls in a week... finally sold it to a friend's friend for a loss.

                        A Friendly note to everyone: Honda reliability is a myth, dont blindly buy a bike just because its honda. I bought two vehicles blindly (Dazzler, Aviator) just because they were Honda.
                        I'm repenting now. Both have been plagued with issues from day one.
                        The engine in Dazzler which is the same in Unicorn,cbz xtereme , hunk is know to have problems, ask any mechanic & they will agree. I just dint research enough before buying
                        The only saving grace here is the service is good atleast in Hyderabad.

                          hi guys,

                          my friend is owning Honda Dazzler which is having some issues in it. the engine gets heated up just after riding it only for 40 to 50 km. he gives the bike for service in ASC only. he has complained in the ASC also. but those guys tell that there is no problem in the engine. need help guys

                            What grade of engine oil is he using? 10w30? If yes, ask him to shift to xxW40 grade
