Thanks for the information my friend! The stock sizes for pilot and main in dazzler are 35 and 115. I am extremely surprised at this sizing. Really at a loss on what bases does Honda decide on sizing. 128 for Hunk seems mad. In fact when I opened up my carb and compared the 115 with 125 of Apache 180 stock, I felt that the hole size was more or less the same. As it is Dazzler uses the keihin 28mm carb which is larger as compared to FZ/pulsar/RTR 150s (Ucal/Mikuni 26mm).

Also there were no slots to tune the needle!!! o_O that fact totally boggled my mind..!!! There was just one washer that too on the inside side of slide. How is a man supposed to tune the carb if the needle does not have slots! I am still quite boggled! I have still not got my hands on the karizma main jet, mainly because of work pressure.

Anyway, thanks again for the info!

Did second service today...
All routine service and checkup was done....
but the idiotic A.S.S. people oiled the rear disk brake, I was just shocked and kinda thinking whether HONDA trained them or not?

Need some help about it should i clean it with petrol or kerosene?
need urgent solution as it feels their is no brake at rear...

Hey, are you sure that Dazzler has a 28mm carb?

Did they oil the disc? This is truly idiotic. Why don't you ask themselves to fix it at the ASC?

I just made them regret it and then they said that it will get removed in 3-4 days and it will reduce the sound made by disk...
the service manager then told me that they will replace the pads if they doesn't get recover...

Hi man..!! good to see you here! Did not know you were active these days!!

Well when I opened up my carb, on the side wall of the carb was embossed Keihin 28 (the 28 was within a circle). I went and checked on line and it apparently means that it is a 28mm carb then. The images online which i searched via google also show the same embossing with the title of a 28mm carb. So I am guessing that is what it is then..! (To be honest, I have not measured the actual size using a scale or anything)

The pad material will absorb the oil and no amount of cleaning will remove it.
Replacement is the only fix now.

Hi All,

My dazzler has completed more than ~12500 KMs.
from past couple of days the front sprocket is not rotating smoothly, as a consequence there is a non uniform noise with every rotation.(like some thing is getting in its contact ).
also the vibrations on foot peg could be felt because of this, even in lower rpms (2K-3.5K).

I couldn't examine the front sprocket as I don't have spanners for opening sprocket cover, but I did observe that the rear sprocket is fine (when compared to healthy sprocket's diagram from manual) and even the chain wear mark is within green line.

I didn't have time to take it to service station (about which I have my own fears), Now I am afraid it might result in wear out of chain and rear sprocket too.

I have few queries:
1) Can there be any specific condition where the front sprocket wears more than rear(or is it normal) ?
2) Should I replace only front sprocket or (front+rear sprocket+ chain)?
3) Should I do it from Honda's service station or local reliable mechanic.
The centrifugal oil filter/stainer is still not cleaned in my dazzler, (even after 5 services 4free+1 paid) when ever I asked about it and showed them manual their only answer was, who goes according to manual. (even the spark plug isn't changed, as suggested by manual, but old one is working fine without any problem)
4) Should I try it my self.(Only apprehension being I don't have tools and lack experience.. its my first bike)

The questions might be asked before in this threads, (as I find most of solutions here without even raising a query).

Thanks in advance

Nope, absolutely no problem at all..! It was total fun..!! Generally the oil burns off with the heat. But if they are changing the brake pads free of cost then go ahead, best thing to do for complete peace of mind.

Thanks in advance
Well it is also possible that the problem is not with the sprocket but with the chain. If your chain has a "kink" that is if two of the links do not bend freely then every time that kink goes over the sprocket, you will feel it vibrate. You will hear a regularly spaced sound or feel the vibration at regular intervals.

Generally the front and rear sprockets do not wear out as fast as the chain does, but whenever you change the chain, the complete set MUST be changed, i.e. chain + front + rear sprockets.

While getting your bike pressures washed, ask the guy to clean chain with diesel properly. Go to a local mechanic, first ask him to tighten the chain properly, ensure that it is still within then green bar. Then ask him to open the front plastic chain cover and inspect the front sprocket visually. If everything looks ok, i.e. all teeth have even wear and there is not broken or chipped teeth AND the sprocket rotates at the same place & has no play, i.e. all the teeth follow the same circular path, then the sprocket is fine. So look for kinks in the chain... If you find any fused links then brake them open by cleaning with diesel, removing rust and lube it nicely. Let it run for a few days and observe, if things are ok then great, otherwise you might have to change complete chain sprocket set. Better to do that in service center, it is a comparatively big job and not for inexperienced people.

Also change your spark plug, the km interval in the manual is given for a reason. With age the efficiency of the spark plugs decreases, sure it will fire and the engine will run fine, but the spark is not as strong as it is with a new plug, you may not get complete combustion (less power, lower mileage). In any case spark plugs are cheap, you can keep the old one as spare.

The centrifugal oil cleaner has never been cleaned in my bike either! And its been more than 17700 kms now. Will probably do it at 20k... It is shitty on the service centre's part to not do it but then they are shitty anyway so it cannot be helped unless you find a good mechanic who knows his stuff.

plasmabhai: Thanks a lot for details.

the very first day I faced this problem, I observed a kink in chain, so I cleaned the whole chain with diesel and removed it. Then I lubricated the chain with HP ep90 gear oil.
I also observed that the the chain was almost touching the rubber pad which is over left swingarm (one can find it near the monshock), so got it tighten with help of a local mechanic.
the chain was within the green wear mark then, but it didn't solve the problem. Yesterday I examined the chain again and found it at red line.
Seems like a new chain set this weekend.

Thanks everyone.

as far the update after cleaning the chained looked like it is a brand new chain....
captured no pics & the procedure as it is already posted many times on forum....

got some lube sprayed on alloys accidently while lubing chain ,the spray of lube reached the alloys somehow even after applying plastics...
i can say its a real tough job to get it removed from alloys again...
