    1. Yes you can. You are the limiting factor. That being said, always plan well and plan for the worst.
    2. I've tried Castrol and Shell, Castrol felt smoother with softer gear shifts. Both are better than Honda oils.
    3. Depends on rider and how much he cares about the bike. For me, max 46 and min 40.

I own a dazzler, jan 2011 model, and hav 54k on the odo. Contrary to what most long term reviews hav to say. i hav had a pretty smooth time with my bike.
Firstly i used to get the oil changes every 3500kms, now its close to every 5000 kms, and i use simple mineral oil from honda. The engine sounds a bit more clattery then how it sounded at 5000 kms, but its still very silent compared to the like and pulsar and others. No engine or other mods till now.
The only major expenses were a change of chain and sprocket at 30k, a spark plug change at 30k, and the rear tire at 40k. The replacements are holding on good so far. No niggles with the battrey till now.
Also, wud mention that i dont bother much about chain lubrication and all.. just get it lubricated when getting the oils changed,

The only niggles ive faced on it is that sometimes my horn stops working , but thats due to a loose wire i guess. apart from that ive noticed that gear changes are a bit more rough now, its not bad but its just not as smooth as when it was new. Apart from that the washer holding the front bumper has got loose ,, and honda has been pathetic with the spares. They have simply zero inventory of dazzlers parts. My bike is still just on its second air filter, which was replaced at 25k, cos honda simply has no spares with them.

So, other then some minor niggles with horn and front bumper , the bike is holding on pretty well till now.

Just wanted to say this cos so many people were raising concerns over long term reliability of this bike.

If you have repsol oils near you I would suggest you to try that..

Specifically, Repsol Sintetico.. My dazzy loves that.. Shifting is so much better than Honda Oils

Just bought myself a second hand metallic green dazzler for daily commute. I have been following this topic for quite a while now and happy to be in possesion of one.

It was okay, but after I gave it for a wash, the bike stalled in the middle after few kms. I tried starting but it refused balantly. After switching off and on also, it refused for a couple of times and started once. Thanking my lucky star and thinking it would shake excess water remains, I gave a full twist. The bike simply died on me. So, I called my mech and he suggested me to pull plug cap and blow. After a couple of try, it starts now fine. But now a strange thing is happening. The bike refuses for clean throttle pull. It pulls upto 1800 RPM and seems like out of breath there and then again pulls if I keep trying. The bike also seems lagging and has no pickup as well. What might have happened ? Since its weekend, all ASS are closed up. Confused here.

Also I am attaching the seat of my CB600F and would loke to attach the bungee loops in my Dazzler as well. Is it possible ? Thanks in advance.

            1. Water in the carb.
            2. Greasing of accelerator cable required.

So we stripped everything from the bike. Mobile changed, air filter cleaned, chain tightened until we found the Swingarm was also moving bit. Seems it is time to change the bush.

When we tried to start, it was again the same problem. Very low pickup until 2500 RPM and then RPM won't go above 6000. If clutch pulled and throttle pulled, it races fine. So we decided to pull off Carb. Finally found out the problem. The rubber diaphgram was getting stuck. Is there any way to repair that or I need to replace the Carb ??

Replace the diaphragm, not the carb. Its available separately.

This is the image I was trying to post in my previous post. Can the hooks be added in Dazzler as well ??

After enquiring and threatning the previous owner to return the bike, he told be me that the diahragm was indeed changed previously by the SVC. There is no unusual tears or holes. My mech who does our superbikes as well is asking me to change the whole setup so that the problems won't return. Also, if diapragm is changed, the problem seems to return sooner rather than later.

If I was to change the whole carb unit, can Unicorn's be used ??

i faced starting problems and i have mentioned those before also but now finally the problem is over it was the relay starter tht was causing problem
it cost me 250 ruppees to replace the relay...
nw the bike starts with no troubles...

i have read that when you press the ignition switch there should be a click sound from the relay...it means the wires are now in contact to start the electric motor..
so pls check that before you replace the relay
The relay is a small black colored box on the left side of the pannel and to the left side of the battery..
also check for battery voltage.. i was always told that its a battery problem which i replaced it but still had the problem had to force the ASC guys to check relay... they are a bunch of idiots

@neil9381 thanks for your suggestion, but mine have some issues just looks like its cold start problem, the ASC guys told me about the moisture inside the cylinder :P.

When I rev lightly it for couple of minutes , the problem is gone, not able to understand the complete issue.

                          confused.

did a first time trip outside mumbai to Tansa Lake and forest park...it was superb
The dazzler performed quite well except tht my butt started aching really bad i dont like the seats...
The bike is easily manoueverable and smtimes i dint feel confident but it was fine dint do above 60Kmph because roads were wet..
