hey no need to worry..., dazzy's chain is 'O-Ring' and it contains lubricating agent intact within the joints. so cleaning it with kerosene wont affect your chains performance. its to prevent the chain from rust and dirt. even if u doesn't apply chain spray, u won't get any trouble. when u use a lube spray, the smoother chain will be the smoothest, thats all... happy riding...Originally posted by Varun Raghunathan View PostHi all... Please help... Am in a big trouble now..
I thought of applying chain lube after giving dazz for a water wash...
So applied some kerosene and brushed the chain ...
Went to a automobile shop and bought a Motul lube..
It is written as Motul Chain Clean...
My gut says its a degreaser...
spent all the moeny i had.. rs 450..
Haven't given bike for water wash also yet.. since i don know whether the product i bought is right... But brushed the chain with kerosene
(
What do i do now?? Can i run the bike till next weekend with this kerosene cleaned chain? And what is the exact chain lube products name?? Is it the one i bought??

Thanks a lot guys.. I will get that lube when i get some money .. that automobile guy convinced me that this is the chain lube... a loss
hey dear Varun... its still useful.., now u need no kerosene or brush to clean your chain...
so its not a loss... its more effective than kerosene and any other methods...Down to Gehenna or up to the Throne, He travels the fastest who travels alone...

i understand that you wont find slope everywhere.. although it was nothing more that a idea given for the ill situation.. and for your second quote i recently got my bike delivered from Mumbai to Bangalore which was in still position with petrol knob off for one entire month... what happened after it reached Bangalore was a mind blowing experience IT STARTED WITHOUT CHOKE OR PUSH... lol i mean the bike was idea for a entire month which is not a less period for the battery to give any kind of issue but it just worked fine i did not do any single thing and my friend witnessed it who was also skeptical about a bike without kick start..Originally posted by cmahajan View PostDude, it's not always possible to find a slope. I own a Stunner and have faced starting issues despite of proper maintenance of the bike and battery. Believe me, it looks stupid and is painful.
You will realize that one day.
no offense dude but just give it a try make sure you maintenance of the battery once in 6 months and believe me it wont give you any issue and same goes with the bike as well..Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead..

My Dazzler crossed 16500 kms. Last week did a 1600-km trip to mountains. Though underpowered, it did well. It also did 600 kms in same day, and its running excellent.
It returned an FE of 46 kmpl at around 70-85 kmph and occasional bursts of 90-100 kmph.Last edited by ravi@17bhp; 07-26-2011, 06:07 AM.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

few days ago i was about to fix cbz over dazzler, but now again changed...
friends please advice me regarding this... but my main concerns are... my height is 6' [heard that the bike's saddle is too low...], weight 62kg, reliability of the bike as it may be used for more than 6 years... FE and handling... performance or if any vibes present... thank you all for changing me back to a dazzler fan...
