  • Re: MotoGP 2014 Season - Updates

If it would have been Lorenzo's Yamaha chasing #93 then it would have been different story isnt it? But its all now if/but.

Why isnt Marquez wearing #1? Is he already considering it as unlucky number? He just started his career isnt he?

Movistar were able to reach 2nd spot only because of rossi.... Lorenzo is undoubtedly the champion... But Rossi is living as champion of champion in all our heart...
He invented certain style and tactics like sachin had in cricket, which other counterparts were following and make him to think something new

      Its Honda....Yamaha....Honda
Rossi was the lonely warrior in the H Dominant battle...
We badly need the man of steel jorge to change the fortune along with his all time champion teammate to revs all our heart:thumbup:

I noticed him wearing number "one" on the hump of his leathers. No where else.

If MM wears #1, people wouldn't buy much from #93 merchandise. As simple as that. Money!

Rossi even at this age and on a comparatively slower bike is a hard nut to overtake at any track. But, MM has simply found a way to deal with it. If Rossi 'd change his riding style so much over the last few months, I think, he's taking the challenge quite seriously.

Apart from the answer above, you can consider going through the link:

This should be helpful and if you still have any questions, everyone here is eagerly waiting to answer , just don't say anything bad about Rossi, most of us take it personal.

Nice race. Was hoping Rossi's was doing the old Rossi trick, but it was the other way round.
It'll be fun if this continues all season, with other riders off in the battle offcourse

Anyone, like me, wondering if the Ducati went out of fuel as Cal limped over the finishing line hoping no ones close enough? Her

Here's the answer: Fuel was all good, the bike wasn't at the right place as expected by the ECU

When I woke up this morning my mood was completely different from yesterday. I was totally focused on the race, I had only it on my mind. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know it. If I knew the secret of it, everything would be easier

nope man, not in my heart. :-) i liked him quite a lot (though not as much as many of you guys and other diehard rossi fans) until about 2008/2009, since then for several reasons and events i became neutral (liking him just normal) towards him and it seems i become more and more neutral towards him with time..i still really like his spirit of racing, but that's pretty much it for me. :-)

oh and about the race yesterday - absolutely gutted for lorenzo (and also bradl), he rarely makes mistakes or rarely crashes, that's what makes it even more disheartening an event and he always crashes spectacularly ripping his bike apart in the least :P.....dani was as usual dani...brilliant stuff from marc and rossi between them..very reminiscent of last year's qatar race where they both battled like that but for 2nd position and it was rossi that won that time...it's good to see motogp having had quite a few battles like that recently..a bunch of them in 2013 and 2014 promises to be the same or maybe even better.

The Honda is definitely a superior bike to the M1, Rossi rode brilliantly to finish just so close to Marquez, interesting season ahead specially with the European tracks

Just one line for the Doctor "Performance is temporary but Class is permanent" ... what a race !! Only wish M1 to be as fast as Repsol on straight lines

                                Nice, so true.

Now dun shoot me for saying this, I think Rossi had problems out braking Marquez. Marquez was so late on the brakes, Rossi was catching up on the straights on some occasions, but I think Marquez was braking little later on the start-finish straight.
I might be wrong, but thats just my view...

But cant take away from both the riders, for keeping the rubber side down and giving us a nice battle to watch.

I wish the next race was Jerez and not Austin. It has such a long straight ,
