We got some news, some might already know, but I don't remember Yamaha ever speaking about this before.

Yamaha explain Open M1 test refusal for Jorge Lorenzo.
MotoGP | Motorcycle Sport | MotoGP News | MotoGP Results | MCN

and a bigger news than that.

2013 spec Bridgstone tyres are back for the MotoGP class at Austin.
Lorenzo's prayers (or curse) have been answered.

But(a big one) - "This is a one-off situation, the 2014 specification slicks will be offered at all other venues"

C'mon Marc you know what to do Plan is "as usual".

Lorenzo's M1 was quite nicely dissected by the man himself during the race. #99 camp is concerned about the engine:

Now that's what I call a killer start to the season
Apart from the concern, Marc looks all set to bag another 25 points as we head to COTA. It's a long season and we can't rule out dnfs yet but we can't rely on them either. Jorge's season looks to have started the worst way possible. He can only take one thing positive- it was just the 1st race, 17 are still pending.

@R-series: Absolutely. It's going to be an interesting season, as always!

Winning a championship is one thing and defending it the next season (and further) is another. Look at the modern day greats - Stoner and Lorenzo - both have 2 championships but, they 'd never win them back to back.

This is where ROSSI excelled. Marquez is looking to follow the foot-steps of his idol.

And I wish his idol stops him in doing that

I am banking on Bradl and Bautista to do something about it, long straights and all( just a thought ).

I dun wanna jinx it, but would to see our man on the top.

It wud be an interesting race tho, as the riders would sort out most of the problems they faced during the opening round
