Also it's all about seeing others and learning. Marquez grew up watching the likes of Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo, Dani... and would would have perfected their skill sets and then would have added some of his own. He's new and fearless. I am sure with time there will be new riders who will start doing these stuffs and on and on..

    The game is ever evolving.

Yonny Hernandez, rides for Pramac Ducati in MotoGP. He uses LS2 helmet and I saw this first in Qatar'14 & now after the GP at COTA ( I had to confirm before posting here) I am sure about this. I have seen a lot of posts in the forum which decry the use of LS2 helmets. Now I am really confused. Yonny Hernandez, I assume must be aware of the quality of riding gear he has to use while racing in GP. So my obvious question is, are LS2 helmets really that good ? though I am quite sure they may not be on par with AGV or ARAI and the likes or my assumption about Yonny's awareness about the helmets he has to use is wrong ?

The authenticity of the LS2 we get here is the problem. LS2 is a authentic company, but we have bogus dealers here.

LS2 must be a sponsor. The helmet Yonny is wearing is certainly not the Rs 3k LS2 helmets you can buy off the shelf. :-)

he is surely wearing LS2's highest quality helmet with all kinds of tech and safety features in it (that you wont see in the market, certainly not below several thousand dollars even if similar types of it are commercially available), which am sure is probably as good as the good helmets of bigger brands (arai, shark, hjc, agv, shoei and so on).

Ok, lets clear this out. Yes, he is the 1st guy using LS2 Helmet in MotoGP. Previously was using Scorpion in 2013 season (same as mine )

The design is still the same which is designed by SLGrafics.

He had the same design with scorpion when he was using their helmet. As far as the price is concerned, Rossi's Pista GP helmet apart from the design part costs 1300 Euro = $1800 (approx). That's the costliest the go. Lorenzo's and Marc's helmets are around 600-800 Euro (Marc's being costlier).

Still not several thousands. These helmets are not that we can't afford. But, would we spend our money on it is a different thing, but we can certainly buy them.

Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Absolutely, at the moment. But I also feel Lorenzo will bounce back though the smiling assassin will make it hell difficult.

                          i don't agree with schwantz.

jLo may have had a disastrous start to the season... but he had been complaining about tyre, chassis and contract issues way before Qatar.

there's no denying than MM was on his mind... but i wouldn't say that that's what caused Lorenzo's issues so far.
(Rossi almost whooped his (MM) butt as Qatar. A 35 year racer vs a 21 year old.
                          )
I think JL was probably more worried about VR's pace during Qatar qualifying so he decided to push too hard and too fast.
His first lap crash was purely his own doing.

i wouldn't take away that much from Lorenzo and say that MM's "in his head"... not just yet.

Also, i don't think even jLo expected to win at CoTA since the Hondas were set for wins anyway.
And, If you watch the replay of the race it's clear that he lost concentration with the tear off strip...
and he also said "I let go of the clutch the moment the red light came on"

The hilarious bit was when MM told reporters that he was happy with his own start at CoTA
but that Lorenzo had a better start.
Now that's MM trying to get into JL's head. ha!

Even if Lorenzo doesn't do well in Argentina, he'll still bounce back. He'll start reeling in those lap times soon.

On the other hand, waiting for VR victory, hope he gets hard tyres working for him.

No one's denying that Lorenzo 'll not make a come back. But, at the moment, nothing 'd change unless MM injures himself. MM got into Lorenzo's head in 2013 itself and one 'd be a fool not to accept that.

Lorenzo is in same place as Rossi from 2010. Someone younger and faster is taking over. The best is yet to come.
