MM is good but I believe his bike is better. Today it was so evident. Seems all he had to do was pull the throttle and overtake and then repeat the same for the next 8 overtakes and that too within a span of 10 laps or so. Thats outrageous!! And I believe that if anyone can stop MarcMarquez, its the man himself i.e if he crashes out. Otherwise he will end up with the maximum points of a season. He is so good with honda bike, that I hate him

It is partly bike and partly his skill. Today...be it factory bikes or satellite ones...hondas have no problem overtaking yamahas.

^^ i agree, marc is a very talented rider and probably nobody else could have recovered, the way he did, today.what i meant was, marc had no problem overtaking rossi, even if rossi would not have ran wide, still it was just a matter of couple of laps,BUT,even pedrosa overtook lorenzo, and batustita overtook Pol. so overall hondas had no problem overtaking yamahas.

I think that Rossi's garage isn't sharing any info on the set-up with the Lorenzo camp.

What a fine mutant that Marc Marquez is! The only way to make things more interesting is to put him on a production Honda racer.

MM has proved enough. You cant take anything from this young talented rider. It is easy to say pull the throttle and overtake. But if you were watching the race most of the overtakes were on the corners. And he was carrying lot more speed than anybody else in those corners. Its not easy to bag 6 poles and 6 podiums at a stretch.

What separates him from other riders is his courage to make bold moves and not being afraid of consequences.

MM is very good, and his ride with Honda just compliments his riding skills. Hope somebody good enough challenges him, else the season is going to get over very soon.

Very good rider in a very good bike would produce very good results for him. He should be given the 2nd or 3rd best bike to make things exciting.

The season is already over mate unless MM hurts himself and misses a couple of races. And who is there to challenge him? You should have seen Dani after the race. He was completely devastated. Lorenzo has get the monkey off his back first. Looks like Rossi is the best among the rest

Surprising seeing no one mention Moto3 here, the best action this year has been in this class. Moto 2 is boring as all the fast guys have moved up to MotoGP.

GP is going to get very boring with every race being won by Marquez!

The talent in Moto 3 is amazing. Jack Miller, the two Alexes Rins and Marquez, Fenati, are all evenly matched in skill and talent, and it is awesome watching these four guys bringing the house down. Fantastic race, watch the last lap at Le Mans if you haven't.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Moto 3 was just crazy. The last lap was crazier. Moto3 in general is always more interesting to watch because its so evenly matched but Le Mans 2014 was special. Last lap and 6 bikes runing neck to neck for podium. Awesome win for miller.

Nice wrap-up by Kevin Cameron: Grand Prix Of France Wrap-Up- MotoGP Racing- Le Mans Circuit

A few choice quotes from the article:

"Other riders had front grip issues, as well, but grip is not a thing or a number. It is a garden, which must be tended carefully in order to bear fruit. Pilots tell me that each higher level of license requires that you learn to do more things simultaneously. Racing is very much the same: an N-dimensional chess game played at a high tempo. Non-thinkers need not apply."

"if the rider remains on one band of tread the whole way in, while that band gets hot and sticky, the rest of the tire may not. Mid-corner grip or acceleration may suffer. The ideal is like a roast: nicely browned all over."

“It looks like Lorenzo is struggling a little bit more, but I think he will find a way, and when he begins again to enjoy it on the bike, he will be fast. But if you don’t enjoy it, it is impossible.” -Mark Marquez

"When slick tires arrived in 1974, any rider who failed to exploit their new capabilities fell behind. The top rider of any era is the one who grasps new possibilities, which machine and tire evolution always bring. Now it is up to the others to grasp them, as well—and enjoy it."

I really think MM should have let VR catch up and overtake him after VR went in too hot into that corner.
Would have made for a fun few laps.

and the Moto3 race. fun to watch as usual.

seems so easy when you say it.

virtually all his overtaking maneuvers were at corners... so "pulling the throttle and overtake" is not exactly how he did it.

i think marc marquez is on drugs. it's high time he's tested for doping.

that, and the fact that he has big giant dinosaur balls.

                          .

According to me MM definitely has got the skills...but is also helped by being on a better bike...to be able to overtake at corners...you first need to be reduce the gap and reach within striking distance. The speed with which he was closing in on other riders and overtaking them and then compare it with the time he took to close the gap with rossi... There is a difference. If i remember right rossi was about 0.15 to 0.2 secs slower than MM on every lap. Lets wish that by the end of season rossi is able to challenege MM. He he ... I am a rossi fan..

Rossi has done it again. He's revived himself @ Yamaha. I never thought it'd be possible again (consistent podium finishes). He's caught up wid Lorenzo. Feeling bad about Dani Pedrosa. He's always played second fiddle, first to Casey Stoner & now to Marc Marquez. Reminds me of R. Barrichello in F1. Don't know who'll replace him next year @ Repsol Honda as his contract runs out @ the end of this year.

Also, watch out for Pol Espargaro. He's one hell of a gud racer. He showed consistent race pace throughout in Le Mans. Was very close to Rossi. Too bad he had to lose out in the end. Not saying anything about Marquez. He's one hell of a talent. Dats all I can say..!!!

Rossi is playing mind games on Lorenzo as well. He moved across and cut Lorenzo's lane when the lights went off.
