meanwhile, something much more important than an apparent revival of rossi -

2016 is gonna be a new motogp - spec electronics all over and a new tyre supplier who obviously won't have as much data and recent GP experience in their tyres for at least the first several races...shit is going to be stirred and reshuffled..i am actually looking forward to 2016 already..
Rossi will be there in 2016 as well...hope u r looking forward to that aswell...

Hello, my first post here -- I'm a Rossi fan from the beginning, but that did not prevent me from appreciating an incredibly talented rider like Stoner and now the new 'alien', Marc Marquez. It is true that Honda has something more than Yamaha, but make no mistake, Pedrosa is riding the same Honda as Marquez... Marc is making the difference there. I think Rossi on a Honda would be faster than Pedrosa and could probably take the fight to Marquez more consistently, but the outcome would be very uncertain. 35 yrs old is not like 22.
And anyway Honda would not give a bike to Rossi, they've not forgiven the way he quit them and beat them in 2004. Pity, because the current HRC machine is very strong not only accelerating out of corners but also in braking and corner entry, an area that has always been Vale's strong point. One can only hope that Yamaha can improve their bike and match Honda in that respect before the season is over, the races would be much more interesting. For the moment, let's wait for Mugello and see if Valentino can stop the Spaniards there...

Ah, by the way, have a look at this video released by Pramac:

Andrea Iannone filmed while he was completing a lap on Mugello circuit during Ducati test day on its Ducati Desmosedici GP14 .

showing Andrea Iannone doing a lap at Mugello on the Ducati GP14, during recent tests. Andrea is a great rider, capable to fight with the best: he won many duels against Marc Marquez in Moto2. In MotoGP he has been somehow limited by the current lack of competitivity of the Ducati, but he has shown some flashes of his brilliance already. If the Ducati improves we are going to see more of him in the top 5.

J4rn0 In MotoGP, all riders are champions in their own respect. There are many great talents but they're limited by machinery or some by sheer competition itself in MotoGP. For eg., Hiroshi Aoyama. Can u imagine the guy was Moto2 world champion just 3-4 years back is nowhere to be seen near the top in MotoGP. Such is the competition. In fact, Iannone is nowhere near some of the immense talents present in MotoGP like Hector Barbera, Stefan Bradl, etc, etc who are all Moto2 champions.

When double Moto2 world champion Toni Elias came to MotoGP, evrybody wanted to be like him. But, look where he's now. Out of reckoning even in Moto2. Also, I've got to mention the name of Aleix Espargaro. He's a fantastic rider. Give him a factory machine & I think he can give a tough fight to the dominance of Marc Marquez. He seems to be in the same realm of riding style as MM93. Fast, experimental & ruthless.

I think what it requires for someone to be the MotoGP champ is to be in the right form, at the right time, in the right machinery, at the right age[emoji6] & have loads of luck as well....!!!!

Iannone is one of the most underrated riders in MotoGP now, at least by the public. Few have noticed that he often rides the current (difficult) Ducati faster than Dovi, who is much more experienced than him. Let him swap bikes with Bradl or Smith, and we'd see something entertaining imho. His raw speed and skill in overtaking is remarkable, although he has been lacking in consistency so far; but he's definitely one to watch.

Vale's custom helmet for Mugello: a 'pasta' theme. So far it didn't bring much luck, Rossi is 10th on the grid...

Sponsor's interest and manufacturer's interest are not necessarily the same; however any difference will be negotiated. I think Pedro has a good chance of remaining where he is, the HRC team is pretty well balanced atm.

Andrea Iannone has been one of the biggest surprise in the Qualifying. Italian on Satellite Italian bike with #2 position on the starting grid. Hope to have some competition to Marquez, it really gets boring when Marquez goes ahead with no one challenging him. Is it turning into F1 in Schumi's era? I guess so.
