^^Oh, I didn't expect this to be talked about here.
I saw this on the website when I was out of the city, but thought it made no sense posting it here. But I guess the poster thought otherwise.

Anyways back to Motogp.
Anyone thought that last year when Honda claimed the RCV1000R to be just 0.3 sec off(not in the hands of Stoner) from the factory machines, Hayden and Redding on the production Honda would be down in 7th. Which is slower than the Ducati's (which last year was atleast 0.5 sec slower than the Honda's) and the production M1 which is already slower than the factory Hondas.
Technically the factory Honda and production Honda are more different than the Factory M1 and production M1. Honda still claimed the production racer to be faster and keeping the efficiency in mind, they offered only 22.2L fuel tank while the open class riders are actually allowed 24L. So what's going on ?
Redding says -"The tank holds 22.2 litres of fuel. I don't understand why when we can run 24 litres... They are changing it though, but it is what it is and we had to save fuel in the race, which was a new experience for me. If they bring a bigger tank [then] that's another step closer to the front pack."

On the other front, the faster of the Espargaro brother says - I could have stayed with Marquez, Rossi.
Personal opinion: Practice, Qualifying are different things and Race is different. I personally believe he was fast because of the extra test his team did there while Factories were at PI, Australia. He might be fast at other circuits as well and get a podium for sure, but staying with the top 2..I highly doubt it.
