If he keeps his cool. Those are the important words. I don't know about a podium, but i would sure put a bet about how many riders he will barge into on the first corner in an attempt to make up places immediately!!

Going to be a fun race though, especially if the Ducatis manage to hold up Lorenzo for long enough to let Rossi join the party.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

What a bunch of races. Marquez didn't punt anyone other than himself off the track!

He seems to be stressing himself over the course of race. He has to learn to play it cool. Lorenzo, three wins in a row.Amazing...

What a race.. That jump start helped Iannone at the end. He held MM93 long enough for Rossi to join the party. Gud ride by Pedrosa. & Smith.. This guy can do wonders on a Factory Yamaha..! Seems to have the nerves needed for a good race. No words for Jorge Lorenzo. Simply in a league of his own. Someone has to prevent him from putting the hammer down. & VR46 has to qualify better in 1st row at least to be able to stop Lorenzo.

Next up is Barcelona, Lorenzo's backyard..!

At this stage, it seems Lorenzo is all set to get his 3rd title. I am nobody to advice likes of Rossi or MM or any of those riders. However, watching the race, you realise how hungry MM is for victory.

Yes, he is aggressive and keeps taking risks, and this season those risks are not rewarding like before. But this is what has made him 2 time champion. And honestly, I would love to see other riders too up the ante. I like the fact that atleast he tries, and thats worth my money. All these incidents can only make MM stronger.

Rossi I feel isn't pushing as hard to get to his 10th title. Lorenzo in this form requires Rossi to dig deep and start races from first row atleast if not pole.

Hope Rossi puts up a good show in Barcelona, for fans like me were disappointed this weekend.

Another thing I came to know is that at Mugello they still have filament bulbs for the starting lights instead LEDs like in modern lighting systems. Because of this, as soon as the person takes his hand off the switch, there is around 0.1-0.2 second delay for the lights to go blank as the filament takes time to cool down. In modern lighting systems using LEDs, the response is sharper and it would have been easier to catch the jump start. Although the person said he released the button before Iannone started moving, the lights were still "on" for a while. There is no way someone could have timed the start so well.

These Moto3 guys should have a movie made on themselves. Found another funny incident. Previously where Fenati lost it. This time is Manzi into Oliveira

So definitely this is more than some random bad luck for Honda and Marquez.

It seems that the Honda engine is too aggressive; but they cannot really intervene on it, since of course engines are sealed (ironically, a rule imposed by Honda themselves). They can only intervene through electronics, and that is hardly the best solution. Marquez is trying to ride over the problem, but we see that he's struggling.

Which means that neither the factory riders at Sepang, nor Stoner during his tests, realized that the 2015 Honda engine was too aggressive. Now, that Stoner doesn't mind an aggressive engine, we know; that's the risk in using Stoner as reference when developing a bike...

The others may have been induced in error because the tests take place at Sepang, where the problem would be easier to manage. But on other tracks, the problem shows its true dimension.

So now Hondas are stuck with 5 sealed engines per rider, that don't have optimal specs. Will try to tune them down with electronics workarounds and other tricks, and no doubt they'll come up with some kind of solution... Meanwhile the Yamahas (especially Lorenzo it seems) could well take off and disappear in the distance.

Rossi's incredible charge would have definitely put him in pace with Lorenzo if only he qualified in front row. Given his current form, Lorenzo is going to run away with the championship if Rossi doesn't dig deep and qualify better and challenge him at the top spot during the race.

I think this video pretty much absolves Iannone of any jump start sins.

                              Have a look

He starts moving before the lights go off, but hasn't gotten out of his box till the lights have gone off.
