Rossi sadly finished 7th and I sincerely hope he is able to climb up the ladder soon, before Lorenzo takes the lead and disappears. I think Rossi should retire incase he is not able to get his 10th title this year as this would allow young talent to race for Yamahas. Please dont attack me for thinking out loud. This is just my opinion.
Not yet bro, we will all wait for that one more title before he hangs the lid.
Jorge said "Rossi is a Sunday man". Hopefully he lives up to it and increases his lead in the championship by the end of the race.

Anyone knows what's the theme/idea behind Marc special helmet for the Catalan GP?

First I thought I would put the link. But, then I realised it is an interesting read for MotoGP fans, and fans of Maverick Vinales. The last sentence makes you feel happy. Vinales is the real deal. You get an oppurtunity and this is how you make good use of it. I really hoped Scott Redding would be competitive this year around.

The 20-year old capped a perfect day for Suzuki by backing up team-mate Aleix Espargaro in a famous qualifying one-two for the factory, its first since the Spanish Grand Prix in 1993.

A small spill in FP4 did little to dampen his speed and the 2013 Moto3 world champion believes that running at the front of a MotoGP race will accelerate his learning process.

Awesome race. Rossi did well to cling on to Jorge. That gud opening lap by Rossi definitely helped him this time. His race pace was equal to Jorge. If only he could've started from top 4-5 positions. Instead of aiming for the race, I think next time VR46 should aim at qualifying in the top 5 positions to defeat JL99.
Rest, Dani Pedrosa was fantastic today. He showed why he is still there in the Repsol Honda pit garage. He can certainly perform under pressure & is a proven winner. But, the Yamaha's were fantastic today. They made a joke out of the Repsol Hondas by beating DP26 by 20 secs..!! & Marquez is making too many errors. He should slow down a bit. He looks like he has to learn a lot abt how to manage races. Otherwise, I believe he was in the running for a podium finish today, maybe even winning the race. I suspect something is wrong with the Honda's engineering this time. The front is simply not gripping well & loses out in the races. Courtesy, the amount of crashes witnessed by Crutchlow. Lol.

Lorenzo was very lucky today; could have been wiped clean had MM not moved across and sat up. That was too hot.
Looks like MM is history now.

Emotions apart, Lorenzo will win this year's championship, IMO. He is in a much better position than Rossi.
Well, my only hope is the statement, "Never ever rule out Valentino Rossi!" for he is both a gladiator and a magician. A long way to go.....!

I am baffled to see a Spanish race winner-former champ-championship contender getting booed in Spain! And they scream every time Rossi goes up. Not good in terms of sportsmanship. After all, those 2 never have had a proper battle on track until now. If Rossi and Lorenzo can shake hands, work as teammates and have respect for each other, what's with the spectators?!

Edit: Watch Rossi's comments on MM' riding style on MotoGP's fb page. Very hilarious!

Edit 2: Just realized that Lorenzo is not from Catalunya. And it goes, "Catalunya is not Spain!". But still, they are morons!

Lorenzo is the leading rider now. Next race Assen. Rossi will win the next one or at least finish ahead of Jorge. Rossi is no way slower than Jorge, just that if Rossi had a better start he would have troubles Jorge. Makky - wanna place bets on moto2 if your following?
The back flipper Zarco won again. I'm rooting for him this year.
As for MotoGP, if the title is coming to Yamaha, Rossi will lift it for them. The pit board showing "Rossi-1.5" seconds is enough for Jorge to disrupt his rhythm. I had a smile on my face when the gap reduced. I knew it wouldn't be enough to win, as Jorge had enough to maintain the distance, but he was slightly affected in his flow of consistency. Next Race the yellow gang will go crazy on Saturday

Not betting on Rossi?!! You are no true supporter then!

Well, yeah, I did watch the second half of the race. Zarco is in great form. Tito is nervous as you can see. Rins is doing a superb job!

              No bets!!

Oh there's no doubt on Rossi at all. I thought since we're both supporting him there's no point betting, unless you wanna bet on Jorge?
Yeh Rins is doing good, I feel its only the experience that he lacks to stay consistently in front. But what's with Jr. Marquez. I only realised after couple of rounds that he had moved to moto2 this season. :P

I am betting on Lorenzo although, there's no money involved!

Rins is a very solid rider. Been there fighting for the championship in 2 Moto3 seasons. His stature never helped him to pull through and win the title(s).

You've got some confidence in the #99 this year. Let's see, I'll stick with the yellow gang.
Though Rins is impressive, in Moto 2 my man is Zarco.
Anyone else wants to join the gang here? :P :P

My money is down on the three race winners of Catalunya to take the respective championships as well.

Champion races from Kent, Zarco and Lorenzo. If nothing goes seriously wrong, then it would be hard to stop any of these three.

Lorenzo has been LEADING the last 108 (if i am not wrong) laps. That is pure brilliance and dominance.

@ R Marquez' helmet is to signify the various small pieces that go into putting together a puzzle. Like his bike this season, they are looking for all the small things to smoothen out his ride and allow him to ride a championship winning bike again. Though it is looking almost impossible for Marquez to make a comeback for the 2015 championship.

Rossi's race pace has been as good as Lorenzo's during races more or less. His problem, without doubt, is not qualifying on a better position. If that is fixed, Rossi will very well take it to the finish line with Lorenzo. And in all likeliness, win. It's Rossi who has to improve his qualifying rather than Lorenzo making a mistake.

Rossi came pretty close yesterday during the final lap. I hope he starts qualifying on the front 2 rows in order to keep his title hopes alive. His race pace is very good indeed.

Hehehe..you are a true Rossi fan. But coming to think of it, Lorenzo seems to be inform rider. I felt Lorenzo took it easy in middle part of the race, and that gao was alway more than 1.5 seconds until the final lap where Rossi had cut the lead to 0.8 secs when they crossed the line.

Lorenzo in this form is very hard to beat. We all know Rossi has always struggled in qualifying. But the level of competition in riders like Lorenzo, Marquez is too high. Having said that we also know Rossi is known to work on his negative sides and is quick to make an improvement. I am sure he will give everything he has to try and win that ever elusive 10th title.
Who wouldn't love to watch JL and VR battle it out when both are performing really well.

In Moto3 Kent showed why he is the top contender for championship this year. He used his strategy to perfection and waited for the last lap to make his move where he climbed from 5th to clinch number 1 place on podium. The confidence he has in his ability is clearly visible. I do hope he gets into MotoGp early into 1 of the factory teams.

Zarco's backflip is not to be missed after his wins. He is a man onission and the way he fought his way to 1st was fantastic. His final move on Rabbat was a classic move of blocking the line.

In all Moto3 and Moto2 races did not disappoint at all. I make it a point to never miss these races.

C'mon Monk, no money involved!! you made a pretty wise choice, but the wrong I'm betting on is Rossi that goes on with other rider.

Facts do state that there is no beating Jorge, but my faith on Rossi is blind. Even at Ducati I went around convincing people that he's the man to finally do the impossible

Thanks for the info on the helmet. Couldn't find that over the net, or might have not searched that hard.

Okay fineee. No money, just a couple of paranthas at the dhaba Or maybe a ride on your Ninja at the next track day at BIC (if you win you can ride my pulsar of course )

Lorenzo has matured so much from the time he has joined MotoGP. He does carry himself off as a champion should now.

Did anyone see the backflip that Zarco did off the airfence after winning the race. What fitness, all that in his heavy leathers and with a helmet. Awesome.

Zarcos backflip is the 2nd this season. He did one in Argentina as well if I remember. That backflip was enough to make me his fan. Never seen it in motor racing before.
